City Beats are cover band based in London, who are in demand to perform at corporate events, parties and weddings in the UK and internationally.

City Beats band perform regular shows all over London and South East England at bars and clubs, and on top of that, we are fortunate enough to travel all over the UK to play at weddings and corporate functions.

City Beats are also being booked quite regularly for international functions and have recently travelled as far as Israel, where they have spent a month entertaining all the lovely people of Eilat at the famous Three Monkeys Club, which is part of Israel's finest 5 Star Hotel, the Royal Beach Hotel.

City Beats are a 4 piece band consisting of an incredible front girl on main lead vocals, guitar with lead vocals, bass and drums. All our members sing backing vocals as well, which makes for a very full and sweet sound.

City Beats' band members are professional musicians and have worked with artists, bands and members of bands as diverse as Sir Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Amy Winehouse, The Pretenders, Kula Shaker, Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue, La Roux, Seal, Aha, Ian Dury, Wilko Johnson, Kool and the Gang, Meredith Brooks and Del Casher.

City Beats' eclectic repertoire includes more modern dance flavoured music by Rudimental, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Black Eye Peas, Clean Bandit and so on in our set. Their repertoire ranges from the 60's up to the very latest floor-filling tunes.

Our clients always come first and we will do anything necessary to contribute to the success of your event. We love to liaise and are always available to go through ideas or worries you might have.

So much more than your average cover band, they'll make each song their own, mixing classic rock and indie anthems with the best new music and throw in some unexpected foot stompers, reworked with a City Beats twist.

City Beats are always 100% live, no backing tracks, no gimmicks, just pure unadulterated rock and roll! City Beats can turn their hands to a great variety of different genres and styles and always pull it off with great fun and authority.

They aim to tailor make their sets to suit clients own personal needs and preferences and can learn specific songs for your special occasion should you so wish.

In 2013 City Beats were chosen to star in a major viral advertising campaign for Benefit Cosmetics in which people who answered a ringing pink telephone were taken for a make over and performed live with the band in the Cafe De Paris. Within days of going online the video had racked up almost 100,000 views (and counting!)

They were also chosen for Haven Holiday parks advert and performed live in the advert in 2014.

City Beats can also come as a duo, either with acoustic guitars for some chilled music or with full backing tracks. We offer this service as we understand that not everybody has the space or budget to accommodate a full band.

City Beats band have Public Liability Insurance and fully PAT-certified audio equipment and lighting equipment. We are able to learn any song requests you might have, provided you let us know in advance.

City Beats also have 20 minutes of Horah music sung in Hebrew for Jewish weddings.

We usually offer 2 hours of playing that could be broken down into either 2 sets of 60 minutes, or 3 sets of 40 minutes.

However, we are always happy to do whatever is needed and works for your special event. Our equipment setup time is between 30-45 minutes.

"We booked City Beats from the Fix the Music website. We didn’t manage to see them live before booking so relied on their YouTube clips. These were very representative of how they were live. Robert from City Beats was quickly in touch once we booked. He was friendly, easy to talk to and immediately inspired confidence. He even offered to learn our first dance. A few weeks before the wedding we were sent a long list of songs ranging from the 60s right to recent hits. There was an excellent choice and we were asked to choose those we really wanted and cross out those we weren’t too keen on. The band were great! They had to substitute their usual vocalist only a few days before the wedding because of laryngitis but they still gave a great performance. The dance floor was never empty when they were on. We were so pleased with our choice. We would highly recommend them for a wedding or similar occasion."

"I first saw City Beats play at a summer ball, it was a great night and one in which they were truly the epicentre of it. All of our guests commented on how good the band were. Naturally, they were an obvious choice for my wedding. We had a large variety of guests, but City Beats play lots of the classics you can choose from, from a pretty extensive list. If you want people to get up and dance, this is the band! They were low maintenance for us, despite travelling several hundred miles to play the gig, they were on time and set up without fuss. The band members were fantastic as individuals, friendly and can-do, and extremely talented musicians. It was an absolute pleasure having them at the wedding venue. They played 3x 45 minute sets for us, and the music was absolutely fantastic; their energy with the crowd was on point, and I can safely say they made the wedding a really memorable event for everyone present. This was noted by pretty much everyone there. All in all, considering the quality of the gig, the value for money was outstanding and after having done a lot of shopping around, they cannot be beaten on price or quality. To Robert and the crew; from Anna and I, thank you so so much for coming all the distance, and bringing your A-game!
