About Misty – professional jazz & swing band based in London, UK
Misty is a London-based jazz trio that performs dynamic renditions of classic and popular songs among jazz fans worldwide.
Nadine is the vocalist, Charlie is the guitarist and Jack plays trumpet.
They play in a range of styles that can be tailored to the tastes of the clientele.
The trio believes that their combination, with the addition of guitar effects, produces a distinct and deep sound that blends twentieth-century jazz, soul and pop classics with their own approach.
They are regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at The Clarence Tavern in Stoke Newington and Brympton House in Yeovil.
In addition to performing as a trio, Jack and Charlie can also perform as a duo.
The combination of trumpet and guitar can offer ambient music in smaller or more intimate settings.
For a larger sound, adding bass allows the Misty foursome to create a livelier mood and perform a wider range of songs.
They are available to perform at a variety of events, including weddings, parties and evenings in bars, restaurants, or jazz clubs.

What are your normal set lengths?
- Set length is normally 2x45 minutes but we also do 3x45 and 1x60 in some instances also.Do you have different line-up options?
- We perform as a duo, trio, quartet and quintet.Do you provide your own sound & lighting equipment?
- We don't provide lighting but we provide all the sound we need.Do you provide a laptop playlist / DJ service in between and after your live sets?
- We do provide playlists between or after sets for an extra fee.What time do you normally arrive at the venue to set up?
- We normally arrive 45 minutes before but can arrive early for an extra fee.How long does it take for you to set up, sound check etc?
- 20 minute set up and soundcheck.Can you learn song requests (e.g. a first dance)?
- We do learn special requests for first dances or ceremonies. We normally say clients can choose 3 special requests.How much space do you need for your performance area?
- We can fit into a very small corner so we don't need much at all.Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment?
- We are fully PAT tested and have PLI.Are you comfortable performing outdoors or in unusual settings (e.g. barns, beaches)?
