About The Italian Klezmer Band – professional Balkan & Klezmer band based in Milan, Italy
The Italian Klezmer Band is a cheerful and fun folk band that specialises in performing traditional songs with a Balkan and Klezmer flare.
The band is newly formed, with their repertoire of music arranged according to the style of the Balkan fanfares and in the Jewish Klezmer style.
The band has a variable line-up that can vary from 9 to 20 musicians and is especially popular at Jewish weddings in Italy.
The band's years of combined industry experience that makes them the perfect choice for any occasion. They can play outside or inside, full orchestra or smaller band; always professional and fun.
The band has performed across Italy, at the Street Artists Festival in the province of Bergamo: Costa di Mezzate, Mozzo, Sarnico, and others in the Lombard provinces of Parma, Milan, Brescia, Florence as well as in the cities of Bologna, Cuneo, Treviso, Udine; Trieste, Lucca.
They are roaming, energetic and loud, able to produce a sound and atmosphere like no other - a real crowd pleaser!

We have more than 3 hours of different songs that we can play, like Hava Naguila, Ale Brider, Bubamara, Mesecina, Galizianer Tanz, Djelem djelem and many many more (ranging from traditional songs, to songs written by Bregovic and other ones written by ourselves)!
What we usually do during wedding is:
Playing at the aperitivo before dinner to warm the guests up
Playing during the dinner (1-2 small interventions)
Playing after the cake cutting, when everybody is happy, free to move and dance and we can have a great party atmosphere
