About The Bordeaux Brass Band – professional jazz & swing band based in Bordeaux, France
The Bordeaux Brass Band is a collective of musicians with a festive, affectionate, creative, communicative and activist spirit.
Sometimes laid-back, they take to the streets and the stage with original performances and covers of jazz, swing, mambo, reggae, ska, funk, traditional songs and slow ballads.
A big band of the century since 2001, with one foot in the modern brass band scene and its head in the 1930s, it brings together around fifteen friends to stir up surprise and energy at jazz festivals.
You'll find them at street performances, music parades, cultural events, arts centers, castles, parks, town squares and markets.
They've toured the Canal du Midi by barge and played at Gallic feasts and casual Apéros Fanfares along the Garonne.
