View our list of the UK's best ceilidh bands ➡️

We've played for the Royal Family, BP, BT, Credit Suisse, Ernst and Young, Hanson, Lloyds TSB, as well as numerous other clients. Venues include Claridge's, The Ritz, The Dorchester Hotel, The Gherkin, Gleneagles and St James’s Palace (for a Royal birthday party).

All of our singers and musicians are highly trained professionals with a wealth of experience. "Hi Simon, Just wanted to say a huge thank you for playing at my 40th birthday party on Saturday night. You and the band were absolutely brilliant! We’ve had so many positive comments about the music and your caller was amazing!!! The way she managed to coordinate the clueless ‘English folk’ was brilliant! Definitely a night to remember thanks to you all! Kind regards, Emma and Ed Lindley."

"Paragon Ceilidh Band played at my 50th birthday party in Manningtree, Essex on 9th February. They were absolutely BRILLIANT - the music was superb, we all loved the dancing and Danica was fabulous at getting us all involved and steering us in the right direction (which believe me, can’t have been easy). I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Paragon Ceilidh Band for an absolutely wonderful evening - the icing on the (birthday) cake."

"Paragon Ceilidh Band were absolutely fantastic! We never had an empty dance floor and the band made sure our wedding evening was the fun and wonderful party we always hoped we’d have. The comments from our guests have been brilliant."

"Hi, I just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of Tom and me for such an amazing evening wedding reception. The dance floor was never empty and all the guests commented on how great the band was. The ceilidh was enjoyed by all, those who have done many and those who have never. The instructions were so clear, the dances ran smoothly and everyone joined in. From the first to the last dance the evening was unforgettable. Once again thank you so much! Sarah & Tom."

"Firstly thank you, so very much, for just being so utterly incredible in every way! You were all so patient with the Covid related postponements and with our slightly to-the-wire bits and pieces! We embarked on this wedding back in February 2019 and my goodness was it worth the wait! The main ingredients we wanted for our wedding were good food, good wine and good music and you guys were the absolute talk of the party. I have had so many of our guests asking where I found you, and telling us how much they loved having such amazing live music. I don't think the dance floor was ever empty - I know I spent a long time on it - and you all made it such a special evening and everything you played was perfect."

"Thanks to Paragon Ceilidh Band for playing at my wife’s surprise 70th birthday and our 50th wedding anniversary celebrations. They were absolutely infectious and got all guests involved into the party spirit. All of our guests have said what a brilliant time they had and I cannot praise them enough for their efforts and professionalism even to helping my grandson install his guitar and helping him to do a short set during the interval. I also feel that their own involvement was as enjoyable as ours and I can only wish them every success in the future. Regards, Barry Jarvis."

"Simon and all the band, We just wanted say a huge thank you to you and all the band for the wedding on Saturday. Between you all – afternoon and of course the evening – you created just the atmosphere we were hoping for. There were so many compliments about you guys and the blend of styles pulled off so effortlessly. I know as seasoned pros this probably comes as second nature to you but it really showed how well and tightly you all worked together and the real enjoyment you put into the music. You really helped to create a very special day for everyone and of course Nats and Ross. Thanks so much."

"Paragon were amazing. They gave great instructions to our guests on how to get involved in the ceilidh, knew exactly when to take breaks so everyone could catch their breath and the covers sets were awesome too. We didn't want them to stop playing and we barely left the dance floor all night! Thanks, Lorna & Nate."

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the band and you for making our wedding day so wonderful. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone has nothing but praise for you, we have already had a few people ask for your details to recommend you on to friends. The guys were so friendly on the night and Danica really got everyone going on the dance floor. We were also really impressed with the help we had from you leading up to the wedding. Emails were always responded to promptly and you were really accommodating in our requests. We have a few photos of the band from our photographer and will send them though if you are interested. So thanks again for helping make our day so special and so much fun. You were absolutely fabulous and I would have no issues recommending you to anyone."

"Adam and I wanted to thank you for such a stunning performance at our wedding at the Corinthia Hotel back in September. Your energy, skill and enthusiasm was absolutely perfect and really got the party going straight from the off. It was great to have the combination of ceilidh and covers and we had so many compliments from our guests. Everyone could tell that you were all really enjoying it and that just seemed to transfer to all of our guests. Thank you again."

"As our wedding was the second time round for both of us we wanted something less loud (and boring) than the traditional disco. We decided to try a ceilidh in the hopes that it would appeal to a wider age range. We choose 'Paragon' from the many bands offered by 'Fix the Music'. They seemed professional, flexible and good value for money. They were all of that and more. What a fantastic group! They were vibrant and got everyone on their feet from five year olds to seventy five year olds. They varied the time slots and gave more than expected. They were versatile and provided other genres of music as required allowing oldies to smooch or jive and youngies to bop. The caller/ singer was excellent. She had a stunning voice as a singer but as a caller she was encouraging, clear and easy to follow and got everyone on their feet. She helped generate so much energy. Everyone thought it was one of the best evenings ever. Paragon Ceilidh Band is a band that we highly, highly recommend."
