About Citrus Theory – professional Wedding & Party band based in Sicily, Italy
Citrus Theory is a Sicilian musical project born from the collaboration between Danilo (piano and vocals) and Benedetto (drums), two musicians united by a passion for music and a solid academic and artistic background.
Their friendship and shared love of music led Danilo and Benedetto to develop a strong artistic connection, giving rise to Citrus Theory, a project that took its first steps in 2020, during a period inevitably shaped by the pandemic.
The fusion of the two artists’ diverse musical backgrounds gives rise to a pop-oriented project capable of spanning Italian singer-songwriter music, contemporary Italian and international pop, featuring original arrangements and a strong focus on the live performance experience.
Throughout their artistic journey, Citrus Theory also developed a repertoire of original songs that led to the creation of an album.
The album’s release marked an important turning point for Citrus Theory, which in the following years further intensified its live performances, appearing at various venues and major events throughout Sicily.
Among their most significant performances were a show at the RAI Auditorium in Palermo, opening for Fedez at the Amunì Festival in Torrenova (ME), and opening for Tony Esposito at the Giardino Corallo in Messina.
Alongside their work with original music, Citrus Theory is actively involved in musical entertainment, performing throughout Sicily in a variety of settings: concerts, festivals, town squares, clubs, public and private events, ceremonies, receptions, and corporate events.
Their live repertoire takes the audience on a journey through the most beautiful Italian and international songs, reinterpreted through the duo’s unique style and tailored to the needs of each event.
Their ability to move seamlessly between singer-songwriter music, pop, entertainment, and original material makes Citrus Theory a versatile and dynamic group, capable of crafting diverse performances depending on the setting, while always prioritizing musical quality and audience engagement.
Today, Citrus Theory is a constantly evolving project, with extensive live performance experience and an increasingly widespread presence throughout Sicily, aiming to bring their music to every corner of Sicily and beyond through concerts, events, and new productions.
