The band is made from musicians who have toured with signed artists like Beyonce, Rhianna, Beverley Knight, Take That, Michael Buble, RizzleKicks, Olly Murs and many more!

Lead singer Gavin was a feature on ITV's 2007 X-Factor show, and gained notoriety as the shock eviction of the round, even appearing on Lorraine Kelly breakfast show!!

We are one of the premier wedding bands and corporate event bands in Manchester.

The Ivys Band offer many different forms of acts to truly be able to offer a bespoke service for any wedding or event.

Depending on your budget, size of venue, type of venue or any sound level requirements or preferences you have, we can cater for anything, and can truly tailor our offering to your requirements.

The Ivys acoustic band

We are now offering the chance to book the 5 piece band as an acoustic act! This is absolutely perfect for venues where space is limited or where there are noise restrictions.

You get the style, passion and musical ability of the band. However, due to us swapping percussion for a drum kit, and an acoustic guitar, the noise levels are much more pleasing to the ear if required for that particular event or venue.

Furthermore, this line up can also fit into event themes such as Retro or Vintage because of the style of performance.

The band also plays the same songs as the main line up but the different instrumentation conveys a style change which is no less powerful, but a different interpretation on all the classic songs that the band perform usually.

The Ivys Acoustic Duo

John and Gavin have been performing for 5 years as a stand alone acoustic duo, performing hits old and new in their inimitable laid back style. They perform regularly at venues such as Knutsford Wine Bar, The Bubble Room and even a residency at The Intu Trafford Centre.

They can be booked either as a daytime act for background music or as a main act in the evening for smaller gatherings (which works perfectly). Gavin can also offer his DJing service for the latter to provide a full evening's entertainment.
