About The Cumbria String Quartet – professional wedding string quartet based in Cumbria, UK
The Cumbria String Quartet performs classical and light music for Weddings, Anniversaries, Christenings, Baby Blessings, Funerals, Conferences & other events throughout the Lake District, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
We can also provide a solo violinist for many smaller occasions.
We are happy to play your selection of classics or popular tunes and can often play your special requests.

The Cumbria String Quartet were recently featured on Border TV's "Lookaround" programme.
Our most recent performances have included weddings at Muncaster Castle, Storrs Hall, The Sharrow Bay, The Swan Inn, Newby Bridge, The Low Wood Hotel and The Netherwood Hotel, to name just a few!
We have also played for the opening of Dobbies' Garden Centre in Carlisle and at Kendal Museum.
