Hi George, what music are you passionate about? (Aside from wedding DJing)? We are from the music industry you’d be playing for a well-known artist in the UK. We’d like to know more about what music you truly love. Also what’s your set up? CDJs or do you have a controller type all in one deck system? (asked by Chloe on 1 April 2026)
Response from George: Hey Chloe, My main sound is Funky House / Disco / Deep House / Techno. That's what I play at most of my residencies. Anything with a good groove or interesting sound. Labels I'm into: Strictly Rhythm, Aus Music, Glitterbox, Get Physical, Razor N Tape. I would bring my Pioneer all-in-one system and DJ off a USB. Let me know if there's anything else. If we create a Spotify playlist for you, are you willing to incorporate it into the evening's set? (asked by Taylor on 14 December 2025)
Response from George: I usually ask for a Spotify playlist for weddings anyway (20-150 songs). Once I get the playlist I add songs I think would fit the vibe.
What is the timeline for the DJ set you quoted us for? (asked by Taylor on 14 December 2025)
Response from George: Up to 5 hours. If the party doesn't look like it's settling down, I can carry on at 120 euros an hour (cash in hand on the day).
Are you based in London? (asked by Taylor on 14 December 2025)
Response from George: Yep, but most of my August is spent bouncing around Europe for weddings.
What equipment do you travel with? (asked by Taylor on 14 December 2025)
I have equipment in London and Italy but not in Portugal. I use a sound hire company in Lisbon for my gigs out there. They might be able to deliver to Labrugeira or the venue might have a supplier they already use. I'll be happy to help you out with this.
Can you do announcements through the evening? (asked by Taylor on 14 December 2025)
Response from George: Happy to do announcements although I'm not the best at them. I usually recommend someone from the wedding party does them.
