The Edinburgh Ceilidh Band are a lively professional Scottish dance band.
We are a band that can be hired for all events from Scottish country dancing to lively ceilidhs, weddings, graduation balls.
We are in demand to perform at weddings and functions throughout the UK and internationally.

We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at The Park Hotel in Kilmarnock, Drumtochty Castle in Laurencekirk and Stevenson House in East Lothian, Scotland.

When it comes to ceilidh dancing we understand that not everyone knows what to do. So a dance caller will be supplied to guide the guests through the steps in a light-hearted fun manner.
Ceilidh dancing is all about having a great time. We make that part of our job to make it fun for all ages.
As well as providing music for ceilidhs, the band is also experienced at traditional reeling and Scottish country dances.
The band has travelled to France, The Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Spain, Kenya and Oman to play for functions, with more trips scheduled in the future.

"When you’ve got a night to celebrate, and you’re are going big then you go with the Edinburgh Ceilidh band. We had them for our wedding and I’m so chuffed with that decision. They were patient in letting people assemble, they give the right amount of instruction to get people going and are just very very warm in terms of presence. The selection is excellent and they let you have a breather when you are needing it. I cannot recommend them enough. We wish them all the best and they will forever hold a special place in our life.
