The Inside Groove are an outstanding covers band who perform worldwide at weddings, high-end corporate events and private parties.

Founded in 2017, we are known for our ability to pack the dance floor as we perform our upbeat and eclectic repertoire.

Our artists have previous experience supporting world-renowned artists including Craig David, Chase & Status, Maverick Sabre and Jorja Smith.

We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk and Lincoln's Inn in London, UK.

FAQs

Will you play our first dance?

Yes! We will always try to play the first dance at your wedding when possible. Sometimes we get requests for songs that simply don't suit the band - in this case we will happily play the recording over our sound system.

Do you have a standard setlist?

Yes we do - our standard setlist comprises a mixture of soul and disco classics and modern pop covers. We also have an extensive repertoire list that we update every time the next big hit comes out. We will always take requests in advance, whether they're on our list or not - we work closely with you in the run up to the event to tailor your setlist to you.

How long does a standard performance last?

Our standard full band performance consists of 2 x 1 hour sets. We often change this to suit you: popular examples include 3 x 40 mins, 1 x 1.5 hours for the same price. We can also offer extra sets, acoustic pop, jazz, DJ and DJ live (DJ with added sax, vocals, percussion, etc) performances.

Can we request songs?

Yes absolutely! Our standard setlist contains songs that we learned previously as requests! If it's a great song, we'll gladly play it.

Do you provide music between your sets?

Yes, we always include a playlist that compliments the band setlist, using our own sound and light system to keep the party going!

Do you provide a DJ service after your sets?

Yes. We provide an automatic playlist (with automated fades between songs) at no extra cost, the end time for which is always agreed in advance.

What instruments are included in the performance?

Our smallest lineup is a seven piece band (one singer, sax, trumpet, guitar, keys, bass and drums). Our standard nine piece lineup contains male and female vocals, sax, trumpet, trombone, guitar, keys, bass and drums. We also offer extra vocals, percussion and extra horns.

We've noticed different people in your photos and videos - who will be performing at our event?

Our band members are some of the most in-demand musicians in the UK - with this in mind, we've expanded to a minimum of three people per instrument who play regularly with the band. We understand that choosing a specific singer can be important - so we'll always happily lock your favourite available singer in before confirming the booking. We will never ever let lineup impair the quality of performance and our bandleader is great at choosing the best people for the job!
