Funky Roots is an upbeat party band covering a multitude of styles and genres including soul, R&B, pop, rock ‘n’ roll, indie, hip hop and garage.
From The Rolling Stones to Eminem, Amy Winehouse to Artful Dodger, we've got it covered.
What really sets us apart is our live rapper, allowing us to perform hip hop and garage classics authentically rather than simply adapting them.
It's a unique addition that you won't find with most function bands, bringing an extra energy to the dance floor and giving your guests something a little different.
We are incredibly flexible and versatile to suit all occasions - able to go from an acoustic duo to a full 5-piece party band. With an extensive repertoire, we can tailor our setlist to suit your event.
Collectively we have been working as professional musicians for over 15 years and performing together as Funky Roots for 7 years.
