About Italian Swing Tap – professional Swing Band & Tap Dance based in Catania, Italy
Italian Swing Tap is a Sicily based live band bringing together elegant jazz music, lively swing rhythms and the energy of professional tap dance performances for weddings and private events.
Created as a unique project in Sicily the group combines live music and entertainment in a way that feels stylish, engaging and full of personality.
Based in Catania the band is made up of experienced musicians and performers who share a passion for creating memorable moments through live music.
One of the highlights of the show is the professional tap dancer who adds a fun and dynamic visual element throughout the performance making every set feel interactive and alive.
Their repertoire moves between swing jazz and bossa nova while also giving classic Italian and international pop songs a fresh jazz inspired twist.
Guests can expect everything from timeless swing favourites to modern classics reimagined with warmth, rhythm and character.
All performances are fully live with no backing tracks allowing the natural connection between the musicians and the audience to shine through.
The music is carefully adapted to suit every part of the celebration from relaxed aperitivo sets to upbeat evening performances that keep the atmosphere going until the final song.
Italian Swing Tap offers a range of flexible lineups including an acoustic band, a larger big band and a full orchestra style setup with the option to add a DJ set for the party afterwards.
Their wedding package can also include live sax during the aperitivo background music between moments of the event and the signature tap dance show.
With a strong focus on detail and creating a personalised experience Italian Swing Tap works closely with each couple to build the perfect soundtrack for their wedding day making every celebration feel unique, memorable and full of life.
