The repertoire takes its musical cues from acts as varied as Kool and the Gang, Cee Lo Green and Marvin Gaye and also features some funked up modern hits such as Valerie and Moves Like Jagger.

Genetically engineered in a pint glass by Dr Julius Von Funkenstein, The Jive Misters are a male-fronted professional wedding, party and function band.

Prescribing classic soul, funk and blues alongside modern hits (given The Jive Misters' special treatment) that no party could do without, they consist of saxophone, trumpet, drums, keyboards, bass guitar, guitar and lead male vocals, with the band providing backing vocals.

The Jive Misters band members

Sammy has been with The Jive Misters from the very beginning. As Lead Singer, they take on quite a lot of responsibility, from fine-tuning the musical arrangements to assisting other bandmates with perfecting their performances.

Jake is truly a shining star. Crowds always love seeing them in full performance mode, and the band couldn’t be happier to have such an incredible Drummer up on stage and in the studio with them.

A band wouldn't be complete without its Guitarist, and The Jive Misters couldn’t have asked for a better one than the talented Samuel Shute. They play an instrumental role in the success and musical progression of the band.

Having a sax on stage is great! But having Andy Heyes playing it is amazing. This musician fully knows how to get a crowd pumping with his blistering solos and tasteful licks Andy adds a sparkle to The Jive Misters that most other bands do not have.

Mr Bass himself! Olly has played all over the world and brings all that experience with him to The Jive Misters. Olly is a founding member of the band and is an invaluable asset, on stage, in practice and when arranging all the bands new material.

The newest member of the band is Mr Davies. His great stage presence and mastery of his instrument made him an instant success with the rest of the Misters. Dex is always searching to find the right sound and the best way to connect with the audience.
