"We hired The London Ceilidh band for an anniversary party that we wanted to ensure maximum participation. The communication from the first engagement was excellent which gave us real comfort that our needs were understood. On the night the band were great musically (although I'm no expert) ensuring some great up beat tunes to ensure everybody joined in. The calling was clear and well targeted ensuring novices could enjoy the dances. I would definitely recommend the band if you are looking for an evening of fun."
"The band communicated well with us prior to our 40th anniversary party, arrived punctually on the day smartly dressed in coordinated outfits. They were responsive to our requests for timings throughout the evening. The band were sensitive to the varied mobility levels of our guests, the calling was clear and the pace of the music and balance between the different instruments provided the perfect accompaniment to the dancing. One guest wrote afterwards saying it was fun to join in many of the well-known dances that the caller had chosen. She was efficient and effective, and everyone seemed to enjoy taking part - very few sat out the whole evening, and those that did enjoyed the music and watching the permutations on the floor! Thoroughly recommended!"
"We hired the London Ceilidh Band for our wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond and we would have no hesitation recommending them for a future event. Simon was helpful and communicative in the run up to the event. The band played a great set with brilliant musicians and clear instructions - successfully managing a lot of enthusiastic first time ceilidh dancers! So many of our guests commented on how much fun they had for the ceilidh. We had a wonderful time and want to say a huge thanks to the band."
"They were fantastic. Great communication pre arrival, flexible and easy to contact. The band played French cafe music for us during a sit down dinner and then into the ceilidh which was very lively and great fun. The caller had most people up dancing and everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend The London Ceilidh Band."
