About The London Folk Band
The London Folk Band are a fresh young folk band based in London. They are a young, contemporary reflection of the folk scene whilst still keeping in touch with age-old traditions.
The standard line up for The London Folk Band is a six piece band without vocals. However you can also have a three, five, six and seven piece option.
We are in demand to perform at festivals, concerts, weddings, corporate events and parties in London and throughout South East England.
We're proudly listed on FixTheMusic's list of best ceilidh bands in London.
The London Folk Band can travel all across the country (and world if needed).
All the dances are "called" by the band's own expert caller. You simply can't be in better hands than with this superb young band of talented and friendly musicians.
We perform traditional folk music as well music for Scottish Ceilidhs, Irish céilís and barn dances.
The London Folk Band consists of Fintan (Accordion), Lewis (Double Bass), Craig (Drums), Wesley (Flute & Tin Whistle), Jack (Guitar) and Niamh (Violin).
