Luna Gitana is a live Gipsy band based in the South of France, between the Camargue, Provence and the French Riviera.
Inspired by the world of the Gipsy Kings and the rich, sun-soaked sounds of the Mediterranean, the group brings together rumba, gypsy, Latin influences and vibrant live energy to create an elegant, festive and unforgettable musical experience.
Made up of experienced musicians, Luna Gitana has performed across France and internationally, appearing on numerous stages, at iconic venues, festivals, concerts, private events and prestigious celebrations.
The band is also a perfect choice for high-end weddings, corporate events, hotels, resorts and exclusive private parties, bringing warmth, style and Mediterranean spirit to every occasion.
Their repertoire ranges from the world-famous hits of the Gipsy Kings to international covers performed in a Gipsy music style, alongside great reggaeton tracks and a wide variety of Spanish-style music.
Whether creating a relaxed, elegant atmosphere or building towards a lively, feel-good celebration, Luna Gitana knows how to connect with guests and bring people together through music.
One of the band’s greatest strengths is its flexibility. Luna Gitana can perform as a minimum line-up of two musicians, featuring guitarist and singer, or expand all the way up to a full 10-piece band.
Depending on the size and style of the event, the performance can also include from one to four dancers, creating a full Mediterranean live show with music, movement and unforgettable visual energy.
For most events, Luna Gitana can perform either two sets of approximately one hour each or one full two-hour set.
They can also learn special song requests, such as a first dance, as long as the chosen song suits their musical style.
The group can provide a complete service including sound and lighting whenever possible.
For larger events with multiple musicians on stage, or for venues located further away, additional sound engineers and technicians may be required to ensure the best possible performance setup.
They can also provide a laptop playlist or DJ-style music service in between and after their live sets.
Luna Gitana normally arrives at least two hours before the performance, with setup and soundcheck taking approximately two hours.
They require a minimum performance area of around 3 x 3 metres and are fully comfortable performing outdoors or in unusual settings, including barns, beaches and unique event spaces.
