About Made in Italy – professional Italian Jazz & Swing band based in London, UK

Made in Italy formed when some of the top Italian musicians in London came together to perform out of the love of Italian classic songs of the 50’s and 60‘s.

Songs that transport you back to a time of Fellini movies, Vespa scooters and balmy sunny days spent having aperitivo under the Mediterranean sun.

More information about Made in Italy

Critically-acclaimed Italian Jazz vocalist Irene is a charismatic performer with a beautiful vocal style and assured stage presence.

Joined by an incredible band of musicians that feature Luca on guitar, Federico on piano, Flavio on drums and Richard on bass, their great repertoire of classic Italian tunes are guaranteed to give that ‘Made In Italy’ flavour to any event.

Irene can be regularly seen in high-profile venues in and around the UK, including the Barbican (with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra), Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Union Chapel & King’s Place. Her band was also nominated a Time Out Critics Choice in 2015.

A thoughtful and intelligent musician she started studying jazz at the age of 16 at the Academy of Music in Milan and then moved to London to continue studying music at Goldsmiths College and then completing a Masters in Music Performance at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama.

Her poised performances have already earned her much critical acclaim: she was one of the semi-finalists in The Brussels International Young Jazz Singer competition in 2008 and was a finalist at the Shure Montreux Jazz Competition in 2009.
