About Naples Rhythms – professional Percussionist & DJ based in Naples & Capri, Italy
Born on 10th October 1985 in Benevento and currently residing in Airola, Naples Rhythms is a highly skilled percussionist with extensive experience in numerous international events and high-profile performances.
His passion for music ignited at a young age, growing up in a family deeply rooted in musical traditions. At just 14 years old, Naples Rhythms began performing professionally, joining the tour of Eugenio Bennato and Taranta Power.
This allowed him to perform across Italy and internationally, including a memorable appearance on the Ariston stage in Sanremo.
His career has seen him collaborate with some of Italy’s most renowned artists, including Claudio Baglioni, Tony Esposito, Mariella Nava, Pietra Montecorvino and many others.
These collaborations have enabled him to refine his style and technique, providing him with a broad musical perspective that makes him an ideal fit for any type of musical event, from intimate performances to large-scale shows.
Naples Rhythms’ artistic journey is further enriched by theatrical collaborations with the legendary Dario Fo, an opportunity that allowed him to explore new expressive languages, using music as a tool to tell stories and evoke emotions.
In 2005, he began a long-standing collaboration with Monica Sarnelli, further solidifying his reputation as one of the leading percussionists and drummers in the Italian music scene.
In 2012, he founded the MEV Trio, which recorded the album Contromano, where he served both as an arranger and a musician. His ability to compose and his passion for sound exploration have led him to create a unique and engaging sound, ideal for events seeking an original and distinctive musical touch.
Naples Rhythms is also a core member of Enzo Gragnaniello’s group, where, alongside drummer Vittorio Riva and guitarist Carlo Fimiani, he delivers emotionally powerful performances.
