Oz Town is a vibrant Motown and soul band based in Sydney bringing the timeless groove of classic soul funk and RnB to weddings and events across Australia.
With a full seven piece lineup the band delivers a powerful live show packed with rich vocals, tight rhythms and the kind of feel good energy that keeps dance floors busy all night.
Their music celebrates the golden era of Motown Records with songs made famous by legends such as Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, The Temptations and James Brown.
True to their name Oz Town also goes beyond Motown exploring artists inspired by that iconic sound including Eric Clapton, The Beatles Gloria Gaynor George Michael Tina Turner Amy Winehouse and many more.
The result is a lively mix of soulful classics and upbeat favourites that everyone knows and loves.
The band features rotating male and female lead singers supported by backing vocals, percussion and a tight rhythm section creating a rich full sound that feels both authentic and exciting.

Oz Town typically performs 45 minute sets and provides their own professional sound system along with music streaming between sets to keep the vibe flowing.
