About Resonance – professional Cello & Guitar Duo based in Manchester, UK
Resonance is a live music act performing elegant instrumental music for weddings, drinks receptions, corporate events and private parties across the North West and beyond.
Combining the rich sound of cello with acoustic guitar, the mother and son duo perform relaxed and atmospheric arrangements of contemporary songs, timeless classics, film music and popular wedding favourites.
Their performances are designed to complement the atmosphere of each event, whether that’s an intimate ceremony, outdoor drinks reception or formal evening occasion.
Claire trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has performed professionally throughout the UK and internationally, including orchestral work, recording sessions at Abbey Road Studios and performances at luxury venues and weddings.
Jonny studied at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and has toured extensively across the UK and Europe, with music featured on BBC Radio 2, XFM and BBC Radio 6 Music.
Together, they bring a blend of classical musicianship and contemporary live performance experience, creating a warm and personal atmosphere that makes the duo especially suited to weddings and luxury events.
