Harkening back to a time when high hair, tight harmonies, and polished steel guitar twang ruled the airwaves, Retro Rodeo wind back the clock and crank up the volume.

Expect stetsons, bolo ties, rhinestones, and a generous helping of nostalgia as they bring to life the golden era of country radio.

The band was started by Anglo-American troubadour James Riley, a Nashville recording artist who began the project while moonlighting on London’s thriving honky-tonk scene.

What began as a late-night passion project has grown into a full-blown country revue, with a setlist that spans everything from old-school outlaw country and bluegrass to chart-toppers from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and early 2000s.

Think: Garth Brooks, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lyle Lovett, George Strait, Patty Loveless, The Mavericks, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Clint Black, and (very) early Shania Twain—all played live by a hotshot band made up of the UK’s finest Americana and roots musicians.

With appearances at festivals like Glastonbury, The Long Road, and Maverick, and as the house band for the UK Americana Awards, Retro Rodeo bring a level of musicianship and authenticity that sets them apart.
