About Rosea String Quartet
Based in Cardiff, the Rosea String Quartet formed at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2014.
The group regularly performs for functions and events held across the UK and are highly popular for weddings, festivals, charity and VIP events.
We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Sarsden House in Oxfordshire and Pynes House in Devon.
Since forming, they have taken part in masterclasses led by some of the best chamber musicians in the world including the Emerson Quartet, the London Haydn Quartet, and the Elias String Quartet to name a few.

They record for many local composers and earlier this year were filmed for the BBC's One Show.
The quartet enjoys writing their own arrangements so requests are often welcomed by the group to add a unique, personal touch to any occasion.

"Rosea String Quartet were simply wonderful for our private 70th birthday celebration. Their music was so uplifting and joyful and brought a lot of joy to the day. They also made a special arrangement for me which was much appreciated. They looked so elegant and even matched the gazebo! They were the icing on the cake!"
"Thank you SO much to the amazing trio who played for my sister’s birthday. They were fantastic - not just the quality of the music which was outstanding, but they were polite, and friendly, and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing which was lovely to see. They were unphased by our noisy children running around, and were the highlight of the day. 100% recommend - these guys are great. Thank you again."
"Simply brilliant performance. In difficult windy conditions on an exposed bandstand they performed wonderfully. All four musicians were perfectly turned out, professional and talented. Their performance was the highlight of the wedding. Thank you very much."
