About Selene Jazz – professional Jazz & Swing band based in Athens, Greece
Selene Jazz is a premium cocktail and lounge trio built around a female vocalist, piano and saxophone.
Their sound is smooth, warm and unhurried, made for moments that deserve a little glamour.
Their repertoire moves easily between languages, with songs in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Greek.
Jazz standards, swing, bossa nova, Latin, pop and soul classics all sit comfortably in a single evening, so the music always suits the room and the crowd.
The trio creates the right atmosphere for every occasion: cocktail receptions, wedding ceremonies, seated dinners, sunset events and private celebrations.
Selene Jazz has performed at destination weddings, private parties, luxury resorts and corporate events across Greece and abroad.
A typical performance runs as three sets of around 45 minutes each. Between sets, the band keeps the room alive with background music through their own sound system.
The music is flexible on the day: couples can request songs for their first dance or any other moment, and the trio is happy to perform on beaches, in barns, outdoors or in any unexpected space.
Line-ups range from three to six musicians, so the band can be scaled to the size of the event.
The band arrives an hour early for setup, which takes around 40 minutes depending on the line-up.
