Strings of Portugal is one of Portugal’s standout string ensembles, bringing over a decade of experience to weddings, corporate occasions, cultural events and personalised celebrations across the country.
With a collective of around 30 professional musicians, the group is known for its artistic excellence and its ability to create beautiful, tailored musical moments.
Their performances have graced some of Portugal’s most iconic venues and in October 2022 they made their international debut at the House of Portugal in Paris during the Franco-Portuguese Crusades season; an event supported by the Directorate-General for the Arts.
Strings of Portugal offers fully adaptable line-ups, from a single musician to a 10-piece ensemble, making it easy to match the atmosphere and scale of any event.
Whether for a short and intimate performance or a full-length concert, they approach every occasion with precision, elegance and complete professionalism.
The ensemble can provide sound and lighting upon request, offer a playlist or DJ-style service between sets and is happy to learn special song requests, including first dances. Setup is efficient; usually around 30 minutes and the group is comfortable performing both indoors and outdoors, adjusting seamlessly to a variety of settings.
