About The Sweethearts – vintage close harmony trio based in Buckinghamshire
Take three beautifully blended voices, arrange a collection of original and cover swing songs, add sharp dance routines and you have The Sweethearts!
Together, the girls bring you a high-energy, full-of-fun show, based on the vintage close harmony trio: From Glenn Miller and The Andrews Sisters’ classics to cheeky retro twists on more modern numbers from the likes of Meghan Trainor and Paolo Nutini.
Be it together with their professional and live recorded backing tracks or supported by the 6-piece Dashes band, the girls also offer a choice of stunning costumes; from 1920’s sequinned flappers, evening dress, home-front Military and 1950’s pin-up.
With a solid, smooth sound, extensive range of songs, on-stage chemistry and bewitching charisma, The Sweethearts are ready to explode onto your stage and give your event the vintage WOW factor!
The Andrews Sisters had Bing, and The Sweethearts are lucky enough to offer the exceptional talent of male vocalist, Adam, as an addition to the line-up! Together with the girls, Adam brings the smooth vocals of legends such as Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Perry Como to the party, not to mention some fancy footwork to add an extra dimension to the show!
With all the same panache and personality, we’ve created a special vintage set list for the two of us to perform; from ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’ to ‘It Don’t Mean a Thing’, The Sweethearts Duo are available for smaller budgets or events, to add that same WOW factor and give your guests a night to remember!
Whether you are looking for us to provide a vintage ambience for welcome drinks, afternoon tea, private or public celebrations, we are delighted to also offer a soloist option. We will work with you to create your perfect set, creating a beautifully ambient mood for your guests to enjoy.
Our soloists provide up to 1.5 hours’ of live music entertainment with our own fully PAT-tested and insured PA (up to 150 people), mics and lighting. We can also provide background swing/big band/disco music to offer a full one-stop shop evening of entertainment for you and your guests. Additional sets, larger sound equipment or separate sound engineer or DJ services are available and quoted separately depending on your particular requirements.
