Their current sound is built around carefully arranged classical guitar parts, designed to bring out the very best in the vocals and create a warm, intimate and non-intrusive atmosphere.

Their repertoire includes many well-known favourites, while also exploring songs that are not usually attempted by most duos.

With a high level of musicianship and strong arranging skills, Torquay Duo are also able to prepare almost any song request, including special moments such as a first dance.

Their standard performance is two sets of 50 minutes, offering the perfect soundtrack for ceremonies, drinks receptions, dinners and more intimate moments throughout the day.

The duo perform as an acoustic duo, with solo classical guitar also available as an extra option.

They provide their own sound equipment and use a compact Bose standing PA system, which takes up very little space. They can also perform without amplification if required, making them highly adaptable for a wide range of venues and settings.

Torquay Duo can play music through their PA system before and in between their live sets, helping to maintain the atmosphere throughout the event.

They normally arrive one hour before the start time, with setup and soundcheck taking around 30 minutes.

Their performance setup requires very little space beyond room for two performers and their compact PA system. They have Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment, and they are comfortable performing outdoors or in unusual settings, including barns and beaches.
