About The Valley Voice – professional Singer Guitarist based in Swansea, UK
The Valley Voice is a South Wales-based acoustic singer-guitarist with nearly 15 years of experience performing at weddings, events, and parties of all kinds.
With a versatile and varied repertoire, every booking is tailored to the occasion, from alternative indie and rock covers to softer acoustic pop, folk, country, and soul.
Nothing is off limits.
The secret to every memorable performance is song choice. Rather than sticking to the obvious playlist, The Valley Voice focuses on the songs guests know every word to but wouldn't necessarily expect to hear on the day, surprising them in the best way possible and having them dancing and singing along from the very first note.
This is a performer who genuinely loves what they do and feels most at home in front of a crowd with a microphone and a guitar in hand.
Line-up & Performance Performances are offered as solo acoustic sets, with light percussion and a stomp box brought in where required.
A full PA system and lighting are always provided, along with a laptop playlist service between and after live sets to keep the music going all day or night.
Flexible set options include:
2 x 45-minute live sets as standard
Additional 30-minute ceremony sets
Male or female guest vocalists and extra instrumentation can be arranged on request
First dance and special song requests learnt specially for the day
Logistics
Arrival and setup times are flexible and arranged around the ceremony or event start time; early morning arrivals are no problem.
Full setup and sound check takes 30 to 45 minutes, and a compact 6ft x 6ft performance area is all that's needed.
The Valley Voice carries full Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment, and is comfortable performing in any setting, from barns and beaches to gardens and marquees.
Outdoor and unusual venues are always welcome.
