"We wanted to give our mum a proper send-off and someone suggested we get a violinist. I'll be honest I wasn't sure at first, didn't want anything too fancy or mournful, but Simply Strings was absolutely class. She knew every Irish tune we threw at her, from Danny Boy to the Fields of Athenry. By the end of the night the whole pub was singing and my mum would have loved every minute of it. A beautiful soul and a brilliant musician, literally a service with a smile. We're so grateful."
"We wanted something a little different for our reception and Simply Strings delivered beyond anything we imagined. She mixed classical pieces with Bollywood and contemporary songs which perfectly reflected both of our backgrounds. She was so willing to learn songs specifically for us and got every request exactly right. The V&A is already a stunning venue but Simply Strings elevated the whole evening to another level. Our family is still talking about her."
"I host fairly regular gatherings for my closest girlfriends and always try to do something a little unexpected. Hiring Simply Strings was one of my better ideas. When she launched into Smooth Criminal on the violin the room absolutely lost it, she can really play! Honestly it was the best night we've had. She has this incredible energy that just takes over a room. I've already booked her again for the summer and told absolutely no one because I want it to be a surprise. Discreet, phenomenal, and genuinely the most fun we've had."
"From the very first email Simply Strings was warm, professional and genuinely excited about our day. She played through the entire ceremony and cocktail hour and the feedback from our guests was overwhelming. My grandmother, who is not easily impressed, pulled me aside to say it was the most beautiful live music she had ever heard. Simply Strings has a real gift for reading the room and the energy she brings is just infectious. Absolutely five stars."
