About Vocelume Duo – professional Duo & Solo based in Florence, Italy
Vocelume Duo are a voice and piano duo from Tuscany, brought together by a shared love for music, vinyl records and songs that have a story to tell.
The singer has a jazz background and a degree from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. In 2019 she took part in The Voice of Italy.
Her musical world moves naturally between jazz, soul and pop, with a warm and expressive approach to singing.
The pianist is a composer whose background brings together classical training, contemporary music and composition.
His work ranges from live performance to original music and music for visual media. As a duo, they revisit songs they grew up with and still love today, particularly music from the 90s and 2000s.
Their repertoire includes artists such as Amy Winehouse, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette, Elton John, Alicia Keys and many more.
Rather than simply reproducing the original versions, they bring the songs back to their essential elements: a voice, a piano and the melody.
Some arrangements are intimate and delicate, others more rhythmic and playful, but the idea remains the same; to give familiar songs a different atmosphere while keeping what made them special in the first place.
Their performances work naturally for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners and private events, and the set can be adapted to the mood and setting of each occasion.
The pianist is also available separately as a solo pianist, with a repertoire ranging from classical and neoclassical music to cinematic pieces and contemporary songs.
The duo's lineup can also be expanded to include guitar, drums, violin or other instruments, with DJ options also available.
