"A big thank you to the whole band for our wedding reception on Saturday. Soul Central absolutely made it for us and had everyone on the dance floor!"

"Soul Central were absolutely fantastic! Communication was great throughout the entire process - from booking to discussing their set list and accommodating some music for a surprise performance for the bride. On the night itself, the band were so friendly and flexible with the timings of the night. Their performance was INCREDIBLE, they played the music we loved and played a set list that had our guests on the dance floor, singing and dancing all night. We paid extra for brass and it was worth every penny, such a great addition. We had so many guests tell us how good the band were, would hire again for any event in future!"

"We had the immense pleasure of having the incredible 8-piece Funk and Soul band, Soul Central, at our wedding evening party, and they absolutely stole the show! If we could sum up their performance in one word, it would be "unforgettable." From the moment they took the stage and absolutely nailed our first dance, it was clear that we were in for some fantastic music. Their energy was infectious, immediately getting everyone on their feet and onto the dance floor. The band's tight-knit rhythm section laid down grooves that had even the most reluctant dancers unable to resist the beat. The lead vocalists were nothing short of sensational. Their voices blended together beautifully, bringing soulful melodies and powerful harmonies to every song. Whether it was a classic Motown hit or a contemporary track, Soul Central's renditions were spot on and full of passion. They managed to capture the essence of each song while adding their own unique flair. What truly set Soul Central apart was their genuine engagement with the audience. It was evident that they weren't just performing; they were sharing their love for music with us. The band's interaction with the crowd, their playful banter, and their ability to read the room created an intimate connection that made us feel like we were part of something truly special. The song selection was impeccable, catering to a wide range of ages and musical tastes. They seamlessly transitioned between funky dance numbers that had everyone grooving, and soulful ballads that tugged at heartstrings. It was clear that they had taken the time to curate a setlist that resonated with everyone present. Soul Central's professionalism and attention to detail were also worth noting. From the moment we first contacted them, they were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our wedding night unforgettable. Their setup and soundcheck were seamless, and the quality of their performance was top-notch throughout the entire evening. Our guests are still raving about Soul Central's performance weeks after the wedding: so many of our guests said to us how good the band were and some stated that Soul Central were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. They created an atmosphere of joy, celebration, and unity that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of our special day. To anyone looking for a band that will elevate their event to a whole new level, we wholeheartedly recommend Soul Central. They are not just musicians; they are memory-makers. Thank you, Soul Central, for filling our wedding night with music that will resonate in our hearts forever. You truly made it a night to remember!"

"Dear Steve and Amy, Firstly, a massive congratulations on your new arrival! I hope you are still operating on adrenalin through those initial broken nights. Nothing can really prepare you for that....Apologies that I have not been in touch before now. You must think that the evening was a disaster! I have simply been very pushed for time - still clearing things away from the wedding and some long, hard days working in London, and only just getting to emails now. You are the very first! As you know, I had been so excited about securing Soul Central for Izi and Simon's wedding, replaying their demo tapes to my family and listening to them endlessly when I was working, all along imagining what the evening would sound like. A few days before the wedding, I suddenly began to worry that I had talked them up so much, and had so much anticipation that they could only disappoint. On top of that, the venue was not an easy set up for them because, like a military operation, we had to dismantle the dinner tables in a short space of time to make room for them to bring in their equipment. By the time they arrived, I was quite stressed. We are all agreed that not only did they live up to our original expectations, they truly surpassed them! I did not think that was possible! Such a wonderful mix of musicians with Eric and Shea fronting a fabulous line up. They kept the energy level high throughout the night and their soul and Motown vibe had everyone - of all ages - on the dance floor. One of the touching moments early on was when one of the Flower Girls (aged 3) asked for a special request - Humpty Dumpty - and the band immediately broke into a musical version of the nursery rhyme! It was so unexpected and kind of them, and she went to bed a very happy little girl. So many people asked who they were and commented on how much they enjoyed them, and I would happily recommend them to anyone for their special occasion (I believe you may get another booking from the evening). They are completely reliable and professional, they sound - and look - incredible and they are lovely people too. A band that offers everything! I would book them again, in a heartbeat. Thank you for organising everything with Soul Central so we could enjoy the wedding day to the full. We loved every minute! I hope that you and your new baby are well and thriving. With very best wishes, Karen."
