About The Outcasts – professional wedding band based in Rome, Italy
The Outcasts are a duo to 5-piece versatile band based in Rome, Italy.
Mainly performing as a swing & jazz ensemble, but do not underestimate them, as they can easily fill the dancefloor while performing some of the all time party hits.
Since founding in 2015, the band has had the chance to entertain various people at events, weddings, private parties, and street parties.
Chiara, the lead singer, began learning classical, modern, and contemporary dance at a young age.
She later pursued more in-depth education at the Cunningham School and the Alvin Ailey School in New York. Maestra Maria Di Re was her teacher for both modern and operatic singing.
She appeared in the Fabrizio Frizzi-hosted Rai Uno programme "La Botola" in 2008. Chiara performed as a singer and dancer in the musical "Inferno Opera Rock" for three consecutive seasons, and was a finalist for the Mia Martini Award and Tour Music Fest, and she took part in the 2014 blind auditions for "The Voice of Italy" on Rai Uno.
She has also performed as the lead in the opera "L'Orlando furioso" as part of the Jobel Theater's music theatre at the Creative Arts Workshop in 2016.
The band has been playing on Rai Uno since 2018, both at the Parco della Musica in Rome in 2020 and 2022, and during Rai Uno café. Lead singer Chiara gave a performance on Rai Due in Viva il Videobox by Rosario Fiorello in February 2023.
