Gold Standard play a wide array of genres and musical styles that cover songs from the 60s right up to the present day. Artists covered include Pharrell Williams, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and many more.

This fantastic group offer a highly professional service that caters to your personal requirements, making them the ideal choice for wedding receptions, corporate events, birthday parties, private functions, charity events, festivals and much more.

We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Convento do Espinheiro in Portugal and Dewsall Court in Herefordshire.

As standard, the band come fully self-contained with their own professional sound and lighting system and professional technicians at each event. This ensures that a flawless live sound and performance spectacle is achieved at every event.

Gold Standard has a number of line-up options available:

14 piece: 3 Male and 2 female vocals, 4 piece horn section (tenor sax, alto sax, trumpet, trombone), keys, guitar, bass, percussion, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound and lighting technicians, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
13 piece: 2 Male and 2 female vocals, 4 piece horn section (tenor sax, alto sax, trumpet, trombone), keys, guitar, bass, percussion, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound and lighting technicians, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
12 piece: 2 Male and 2 female vocals, 3 piece horn section (tenor sax, trumpet, trombone), keys, guitar, bass, percussion, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound and lighting technicians, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
10 piece: 1x Male and 2x female vocals, 3 piece horn section (tenor sax, trumpet, trombone), keys, guitar, bass, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound engineer, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
9 piece: 1x Male and 2x female vocals, 2 piece horn section (sax, trumpet), keys, guitar, bass, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound engineer, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
8 piece: Male and female vocals, 2 piece horn section (sax, trumpet), keys, guitar, bass, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound engineer, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
7 piece: Male and female vocals, sax, keys, guitar, bass, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound engineer, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
6 piece: Male and female vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums, high spec PA system and lighting, professional sound engineer, plus a laptop DJ playlist between sets.
DJ add on: Professional DJ in-between sets and afterwards until midnight

For the 12/13/14 piece lineups, full lighting as shown in the videos is included (something to note, setup times are significantly increased). For all of the other lineups the band still bring a great sound system, but the lighting is simpler - a stage wash and a couple of moving heads - a two hour set up.
