When in Zadar is a premium live band based in Zadar, Croatia, specialising in destination weddings, private events, corporate functions, luxury hotels and special occasions.
Our full 5-piece band features female and male vocals, guitar, double bass, saxophone/clarinet and drums.
We blend original swing, jazz, soul, R&B, rockabilly and pop with modern hits that work well in relaxed cocktail and dinner settings before bringing energy to the dance floor.
With a distinctive vintage-inspired sound and professional presentation, When in Zadar is ideal for clients looking for something more stylish and individual than a conventional party band.
Musicians in our lineup include experienced performers from the Croatian and international jazz scene, including several musicians with academic backgrounds in jazz.
We pay particular attention to the overall feel of an event, not just the music.
The repertoire, instrumentation and visual style are designed to create an elegant, warm and retro atmosphere without feeling like a themed show.
As a Croatia-based band, we are also interested in destination weddings and international events.
We regularly perform along the Croatian coast and are available for events in Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split, Istria, Zadar and throughout the Adriatic region.
For larger events, we perform as a full 5-piece band, while smaller duo and trio configurations are also available for ceremonies, cocktails, dinners and more intimate occasions.
