Band Of Brassers are a high-energy 8-piece brass ensemble based in London that regularly perform at weddings and events throughout Europe.

Adaptable to a variety of configurations featuring guest MC and singers.

Mixing modern tracks with New Orleans influences to create an upbeat and lively sound that will spread smiles and dance moves across the party.

Formed in an unnecessarily small lounge in North London, 2013.

Band Of Brassers are an 8-piece brass band, playing a melange of pop and funk favourites, balkanised afrobeats, twisted jazz standards, and few originals thrown in for good measure.

Band Of Brassers encompasses great musicians from all over the world who are notorious for spreading smiles and grooves across the party!

We're favourites on the festival circuit and in demand for private parties.

What instruments do the bands feature?

- Quintet Stage: Trumpet, Trombone, Tenor Saxophone, Sousaphone, Drum Kit. - Sextet Roaming: Trumpet, Trombone, Tenor Saxophone, Sousaphone, 2x drummers playing a portable split kit. - Octet Stage: Trumpet x2, Trombone x2, Alto Saxophone, Baritone saxophone, Sousaphone, Drum Kit. - Nonet Roaming: Trumpet x2, Trombone x2, Alto Saxophone, Baritone saxophone, Sousaphone, 2x drummers playing a portable split kit.

Can we book one band for a roaming show and a stage show at the same event?

Yes, many clients like to take advantage of the flexibility of the roaming band, which can perform anywhere, including a stage. With the roaming band we often combine these 2 types of shows.

Regarding the stage band; is it a problem that there isn’t a stage at the venue?

No problem for us. The stage band doesn’t really need a stage, just an area indoors or outdoors to base our performance.

Can the stage band do a bit of roaming?

Yes, but it is limited to a certain degree because the drummer is fixed to the drum kit. The brass players can move around and mingle with guests/hosts on the dance floor during a stage performance.

How long do you play for, and do you need a break?

We can perform up to 90 minutes of music. This is usually divided into 2x 45 sets with a 30 minute break in between. The break is essential to continue high-quality performance.

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes, we love alfresco shows, however we ask that you plan for adverse weather conditions. A large gazebo is an advisable precaution to ensure that we can still perform during a rainstorm.

What music do you play, and can we make requests from your repertoire?

Please see our repertoire list. We are happy to take requests from this and put together a bespoke set list for your event.

Can you play a song that’s not on this list?

Yes, we are happy to learn and rehearse song/s of your choice. We outsource musical arrangements to a pro who writes the sheet music for us, and there is a cost involved. A 3 minute arrangement for the quintet/sextet band costs £75.

We saw you perform with an amazing rapper, is it possible to book him for our event?

Yes, subject to availability, Johnny is happy to perform at private events. Please let us know if you’re interested in having him as part of the show so we can include his fee in your quote.

Do you perform amplified or acoustic?

Roaming shows are always acoustic. Stage shows can be amplified if the audience/venue size warrants it. We own our own 1,000 Watt punchy PA system which we rarely use because the acoustic sound of the band is huge already! Let us know if you desire an amplified show.

We need to hire a PA (sound system) for our event, can you help?

Yes, We own our own 1,000 Watt punchy PA system which can be used to deliver high quality recorded music and/or speeches. We can deliver, setup, and take down, plus offer technical support at the event. Please let us know if you are interested in this service.

Do you offer DJ entertainment?

Yes, we offer a full event entertainment package which includes a pro DJ who can put together a bespoke setlist for you, PA (soundsystem) hire and of course a Brass Band performance! This usually works out much more cost effective than booking through different companies.

What do you need from us?

We always request a rider of 1 meal and 2 drinks (minimum) per musician. A small room where we can change and warm up is ideal, but it’s not a deal breaker if this isn’t possible.

Do you have any dietary requirements?

No, our regular musicians eat everything. We will let you know if we have a deputy musician who has specific requirements.
