Real questions from clients

Do we need a stage? (asked by Harriet on 31 August 2020)

Response from Kester: No you don't need to hire a stage; we're happy to perform on the floor.

In terms of the two sets you do, do we pick from a list from your repertoire or do you chose that? (asked by Harriet on 31 August 2020)

Response from Kester: You are more than welcome to choose songs from the setlist on the website. If you want to choose songs that aren't on our set list, we can certainly learn them for you but please give as much notice as possible, or at least two months. In 2 hours of live music there will be approximately 34 songs, but feel free to choose as many or as few as you like.

Do you bring lights? (asked by Harriet on 31 August 2020)

Response from Kester: We provide a PA and lights which cover both the dance floor and stage.

The type of music bands for weddings play can depend on the age of your guests, and of course, the type of music you want to hear!

The Score band have performed at literally hundreds of weddings across the UK. One of the reasons we are so popular as a wedding band for hire is the mix of music we play.

Classic soul, rock and pop all feature in our sets, from the 1960s through to the modern day.

The music is all instantly recognisable – we only play hits! The Score band really is live wedding music at its best.

DO THE BAND PERFORM REQUESTS?

The best wedding music bands have very extensive repertoires and The Score can certainly play requests. If there are specific songs or styles of music you would like to hear, please let us know.
