They usually provide up to 5 hours for the evening reception, typically from 7pm until midnight. Every wedding is different though, so timings can be adjusted to suit the evening.

The 4-piece band is a great fit for a rock/indie/pop punk vibe. You'll get two high-energy 45-minute sets as standard.

When the band isn’t playing, they’ll put together a playlist in advance using an automix DJ program, personally prepared to keep the energy going. Just a heads-up: this isn’t a full, manned DJ setup with a booth and controller. That said, one of the band members will always be around, so if anyone has a request or you'd like a specific song played at a certain time, just let one of them know.

When hiring the band, you can expect a combination of songs from the 1970s and 1980s rock classics to the 90s and 2000s indie anthems that will keep everyone happy and dancing.

Are there any restrictions on sound volume at your venue of choice?

No problem, as The Crossbones can use a professional electric drum set (that sounds and looks like a real one). There are no stage monitors or guitar amplifiers present; everything you hear is played straight via the crowd speakers.

You can really turn the entire band up or down, and the sound quality is crisp and CD-like. Loud enough for people to feel the music and dance on the dance floor, but not so loud that others in other parts of the room cannot hear one another.

The band is usually booked as a 4-piece band, but with the addition of their gifted keyboard player, who also provides supporting vocals, you can upgrade to a 5-piece band and have three strong voices.
