About The Groove Syndicate – professional Wedding & Jewish Party band based in Florence, Italy
The Groove Syndicate band gathers a group of musicians from the Florentine underground music scene, ready to create a synthesis of energy and quality at the service of the Wedding, the most special event.
The band was born in 2021 from the meeting of young professionals and it cultivates a repertoire that welcomes guests and friends with a sparkling sound of instrumental jazz, to then evolve into the liveliest part of the party, in a vast selection of international pop and rock hits: a musical journey from the 70s to today.
The band sings and performs in English, Italian, Spanish, Hebrew and French, as well as a very select list of tunes in Russian.
The project also offers a setlist from Jewish traditional chants and dances and Israeli pop, to decorate Jewish weddings in all their expressiveness.
The band has a very wide medley of Jewish traditional dances of Hora, from Ava Nagila to Mazal Tov, Kol Sason Ve Kol Simcha.
Their band for Jewish weddings is a 6-piece line-up, including guitar/lead voice, keys, sax, bass, drums and violin.
The years of musical activity in Tuscany and Rome (home to the most beautiful Italian villas) and the trips to play in foreign destinations such as Cyprus have developed the cohesion and sound, that gift the Bride and Groom with the cooperation of a band always open to positive achievement, conscious performance and amusement.
Openness towards the audience, and a mix of genres, combined with the possibility of concluding the events with a DJ set and live sax, make up the formula for The Groove Syndicate’s show.

"The Groove Syndicate had everything we could have possibly asked for. They are great musicians with a fantastic energy to make people dance. They can play both Jewish wedding music and today's tunes in English, Italian, French and Hebrew (maybe more, we haven't tested!). Frankly, we did not think we'd be able to find musicians with such a repertoire. For us, a French Jewish bride marrying an Italian Catholic groom and wanting to have all these traditions reflected, this was perfect."
