Johnny Barcelona & The Swing Lovers are a fun-loving and charismatic jazz and swing band for hire throughout Northern Spain.
We primarily perform at weddings, corporate events, private parties and wherever upbeat swing music is required!
We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at MAS TORROELLA in Palafrugell and Castell de Sant Marçal in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Spain.
Axel is a singer and guitarist with disparate roots (United States, Holland, Caribbean and Brazil) and settled in Barcelona.

Axel es un cantante y guitarrista de raíces dispares (Estados Unidos, Holanda, Caribe y Brasil) y afincado en Barcelona.
Especializado en el American Song Book, su voz limpia y toque depurado nos transportan a los años dorados de la música jazz de los años 40 y 50 sin olvidar los ritmos jazz-soul y bossa nova de los 60´s.
Su repertorio comprende grandes hits de Broadway popularizados por Frank Sinatra y el Rat Pack, Nat King Cole, Luis Armstrong y Duke Ellington entre otros además de canciones de autores americanos de Soul Jazz como George Benson, Stevie Wonder o Al Greene y de Bossa Nova como Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Axel interpreta su repertorio en formato solo, duo, trio, quarteto y quinteto, siempre acompañado de los mejores músicos de la escena del swing y el jazz. Los conciertos son dinámicos y amenos con toques humorísticos en las presentaciones de las canciones.
