"Sam and the band were superb - fitted perfectly into our brief for high quality professional musicians in a relaxed garden party atmosphere and ‘reading the room’ to optimise guest experience with a flexible approach. They were truly the highlight of our wedding reception, particularly the song they learned especially for the occasion."

"I have always dreamt of a band for my wedding. Thank you so much Sam and The Manhattan Roamers for making our the pre-wedding dinner, the wedding ceremony as well as the party unforgettable. Sam is so professional, flexible and helpful. All the rather difficult logistics went seamlessly. We were looking for a band for our wedding in Greece, to cover 2 days of partying. Sam not only played the piano for our church wedding (including french and Latin songs), but The Manhattan Roamers also played jazz on our pre-wedding dinner, as well as party music during the wedding party. You are phenomenal! During the party, you got all our guests dancing, there were songs for everybody’s taste, the saxophonist was incredible playing in the dance crowd, and all the other musicians from the band were also perfect. I didn’t leave the dance floor! Everybody commented on how great you all were. Sam, your voice is amazing! We highly recommend all of you, and I was already asked for your contact details! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the day such a memorable one."

"The Manhattan Roamers were phenomenal! Sam was great to work with, he was really flexible and helpful. Their performance was amazing. We asked them to perform an altered version of 500 miles as our first dance song and it was absolutely perfect. They nailed every song, built up their set list to really get the party started and managed to get every one of our guests dancing with us. The whole band had such a positive attitude, even when it started pouring down and it looked like our whole outdoor wedding had to be moved inside last minute they were helping out and looking for solutions. And when we eventually moved back outside they made it all work seamlessly. We cannot thank them enough. They gave us the party we had been hoping for. Saying we highly recommend them doesn’t even begin to cover it."

"We just wanted to say thank you very much – you were all absolutely brilliant. You sounded amazing, created the right sort of atmosphere we were looking for and had everyone up on the dance floor. All our friends loved the music – the indie vibe went down an absolute storm! You performed the first dance just as requested and I’ll have great memories of jumping around to Wheatus and Blink 182. We’re so pleased that we booked you as our band – we would highly recommend you to anyone!"

"It was an absolutely fantastic wedding and the day could not have gone better. Even the snow was a bonus and gave us some spectacular photos, although we hope it didn’t make travelling home too difficult for you all. Can you pass on our sincere thanks to the band for a great job. The music was outstanding, the song choices really worked and we had some lovely feedback on the way you interacted with our guests. Indeed, without exception, our guests thought you were brilliant. Can we also thank you personally for your thorough professionalism, advice and guidance during the planning process – it made it all so much easier and felt effortless. Thank you all once again, and we will certainly have no hesitation in recommending you to others. All the best! Diane & Ray."

"We can’t thank Sam and The Manhattan Roamers enough for helping make our wedding day in Sicily so special, extremely fun and forever memorable! All our guests commented on how insanely good the band was both vocally and at creating a fantastic atmosphere that made everyone want to get up and dance – we would wholeheartedly agree! Sam made everything such a joy during the planning stages – so professional and genuinely friendly and helpful. His solo singing during dinner and our first dance displayed just how talented he is a singer; it was perfect and exactly what we wanted. The band and DJing entertainment post-dinner was just as amazing and no one wanted it to end – we would highly recommend The Manhattan Roamers!"

"The band were great and really professional throughout the booking process and on the day. They arrived 2 hours before the set up time and were able to rehearse and get set up with time to spare. Sam and the band were also accommodating by allowing us to use the mic to make some announcements during their break and took some requests for songs during that intermission from some of the guests. During the end of the second set with 15 minutes remaining, the hotel security informed us that there had been some complaints over noise so Sam was able to adjust his set and play quieter to ensure there was no further disturbance. Both sets were made up of great songs that were loved by the guests and many were dancing and singing along. The great reception to some of the tracks prompted the band to then play more from that artist and they tailored the set to what people were enjoying and what was getting a great response. From both a booking and arranging, and performance point of view, The Manhattan Roamers were fantastic and I would happily recommend them in the future."

"The Manhattan Roamers were a pleasure to deal with - not only are they an excellent group of musicians who played precisely the set needed to entertain the guests at our wedding, but they also took the various sound and space requirements of our venue in their stride. We would not hesitate to recommend them as a wedding band."

"Absolutely fantastic - couldn't have been more perfect! All our guests were on the dance floor all night which made me so incredibly happy. Every single song was brilliant and the band seemed to be enjoying the party as much as we all were. Sam responded almost instantly to queries by email in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They arrived in plenty of time and set up promptly. The perfect band! Thank you very much!"
