About The Velvet Sisters – professional Female Duo & Trio based in Prague, Malaga & Marbella
The Velvet Sisters are a twin duo based between Prague, Málaga and Marbella.
They’ve been performing together since 2010 and in 2018 decided to make music their full-time path. Since then, they’ve played at a wide range of events, from private celebrations to high-profile shows for brands such as Harper’s Bazaar, Forbes, Land Rover and Lamborghini.
They've also performed across the Los Angeles area, bringing their warm, lively energy to each stage.
Their setup is simple but effective, one plays guitar, the other handles light percussion and DJing and both sing.
This allows them to cover everything from gentle background music to upbeat party sets, adapting to the needs of each moment.
Whether it’s a welcome drink, a laid-back ceremony or the height of the evening, The Velvet Sisters know how to read the room and deliver.
Their acoustic set features timeless evergreens, covering the best songs from the 1950s to the present day, including classics by Elvis Presley, the Beatles and Johnny Cash, alongside modern favourites like Ed Sheeran, Adele, Coldplay and Rihanna.
Their party set includes well-known pop hits and singalong favourites—from ABBA to Bruno Mars and iconic movie soundtracks.
For those wanting something a bit more upbeat, their DJ set leans into early 2000s hip-hop and RnB, along with a mix of pop and tropical sounds from Spain and Brazil.
They provide their own sound and lighting equipment when performing in the Czech Republic.
For all events, they offer a professional DJ service between and after their live sets, which helps keep the atmosphere going, this is available for an additional fee.
They usually arrive at the venue 1 to 2 hours before the performance to set up and need around an hour for soundcheck. A space of just 2x2 metres is enough for their performance area.
While they don’t carry Public Liability Insurance or PAT-tested equipment, they’re fully comfortable performing in outdoor or unusual spaces like beaches or barns.
The Velvet Sisters are also happy to learn a special song, such as a first dance, as long as they receive the request at least three months in advance.
Above all, they care about creating a warm, fun and memorable experience, always leaving their audience with big smiles and lasting memories.
