When you enquire, bands based in Spain typically need to know:
Sound restrictions — many fincas and villas have sound limiters or curfews. Forever Fiesta ask every couple whether the venue has a sound limiter or works with an exclusive sound company before they can quote.
Outdoor cover — bands performing at garden or terrace venues need shelter for instruments, even in summer. Strong sun and sudden rain both pose risks to equipment worth thousands of euros.
Travel and accommodation — bands traveling between regions (e.g. Barcelona to Marbella) factor flights, fuel and overnight stays into their quotes. Vibe Motion list "transportation, accommodation and per diems" as separate line items on top of their base fee. Bands based in the same region as your venue will be cheaper.
Power supply — outdoor and rural venues may not have sufficient power for a full band's PA and lighting. Some venues require a generator.
All of our Spanish bands regularly upload new promotional material and live event videos so you can get a clear idea of how they will look and sound.

“I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding the best party ever. The entire process working with them was amazing, they were so responsive and professional. they let me have as much control of the music as i wanted. great repertoire, energy and vibe. And of course, they are incredible musicians. anyone thinking about booking them for their event should do it.”
“We couldn't recommend Gonzalo enough! From planning to the big day, he was so helpful and professional is absolutely unbelievable at what he does! Thank you so much Gonzalo, you made our wedding and an event people will always remember and talk about.”
“They played our welcome reception, cocktail hour, and main evening party, and they were phenomenal from start to finish. As an Irish couple hosting our wedding abroad, we wanted an atmosphere full of top-tier energy. From setting the perfect, relaxed mood during the welcome reception to completely lighting up the dance floor at night, the whole band read the room flawlessly at every stage. They even brought in a saxophone player for the evening party, which took the energy to another level entirely. Their performance was exceptional, especially when Matt, the lead singer, came right out onto the dance floor to jump in with everyone - it brought the whole night to life! The talent of each individual band member is off the charts, they are extremely professional, and they had everyone up and dancing non-stop. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night (and days after!) to compliment how fun and brilliant they were. Also, a huge, special shoutout to Mauro, who went entirely above and beyond expectations to help us. Long before our wedding day, he helped us review day 2 venues, technical sound details and setup logistics, offering practical solutions that took so much stress off our shoulders and budget. He volunteered a significant amount of his time to help us, and we are deeply grateful for everything he did. In summary, book this band immediately - they are exceptional and you will not regret it 🤘 M&O”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! 🎉 He absolutely nailed the vibe, played also what we had asked for in advance, and kept the energy going all night. He looked after us from start to finish, making sure the music matched the mood perfectly at every moment. It was an absolute pleasure having him at our celebration, and we would book him again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! Thank you!”
“They were absolutely amazing!! As a wedding planner, I was looking for an Irish band to bring the party to life. I immediately recommended them to the couple, and they loved them straight away — they were 100% what they were looking for! From the very first moment of the party, they were absolutely fantastic, and everyone had such great things to say about them. They really knew how to get everyone on the dance floor and keep the energy going throughout the night. I’m honestly so happy I found them, and without a doubt, I’ll be getting in touch with them again for future couples looking for an amazing live band! Highly recommended! 🤍”
“I don’t have the words to describe quite how special this band are however will do my best! They ticked every single box. Not only are they super talented and played the most unbelievable setlist, they brought so much passion and energy to our wedding day and made our night unforgettable for every single one of our guests. Mauro and Matt are an absolute dream to communicate with - we had several calls with them before the big day and I’m confident that these guys were just as excited about the wedding as we were! They played our first dance and father/daughter dance songs to perfection, even when the first dance one wasn’t one they were familiar with. I’ve no doubt I’ll be keeping in touch with the band in future and would make every effort to go to one of their gigs when I’m next in Mallorca. We love live music so much and the music at the wedding was always going to be a priority for us so choosing the right band was very important to us. We really can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day the most memorable occasion for everyone and I really hope we see you again soon. 4 very special and talented guys - you are exceptional and we adore you all xxx”
“What a night! Thank you so much for getting the atmosphere going and for putting on a great evening. We had the best time and loved the mix of songs played, both English and Spanish songs to suit the audiences! The set up of the band with the sound and lights was equally amazing and made an impact.”
“Marina and her colleagues were absolutely superb for our wedding just outside Barcelona. Before the wedding, Marina was very communicative and professional in creating a vision for our wedding. She adapted our first dance song to make it easier to dance to, and she sung the words beautifully on the night. All our guests loved the DJ, the choice of music and especially Marina's excellent voice and having a live saxophonist in the room to dance with. They are superb and made the party so special.”
“Mauro, Matt and the band were exceptional to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the planning really exciting! They’re so friendly and made the whole day so personal. As for the day/night itself, we had so many people come up to us and say it was one of the best bands they’ve seen. Everyone was on the dance floor and no one left it the whole time they were playing, they were incredible! They even accommodated our first dance song, and played it exactly how we wanted it. We booked the No Worries package which meant that they dealt with all the sound and playlists for the day! Everything went perfectly! Our guests are still talking about them 2 months later! We cannot recommend them highly enough and we’re planning to stay in touch with them now the wedding is over.”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band! From the very first song to the last dance of the night, they absolutely exceeded every expectation. Their energy, professionalism, and talent kept the dance floor packed all evening, and so many of our guests commented afterwards about how amazing the music was. They did a fantastic job reading the crowd and playing the perfect mix of songs for every part of the night — from romantic first dances to high-energy party songs that got everyone on their feet. They sounded incredible live, and their performance added such a fun and memorable atmosphere to our wedding. Beyond the music itself, dealing with the band manager Andrew was an absolute pleasure, he was so professional and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He even made a site visit with us months in advance to scope out the venue and worked independently with the venue on all the logistics, he was so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were responsive, organized, flexible, and genuinely cared about making our day special. Everything ran smoothly, and they helped make our wedding feel seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for a wedding band that will wow your guests and create an unforgettable celebration, we highly recommend them. They were honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!”
“We booked The Revellers through FixTheMusic for our festival style wedding... just wow! The band were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They performed our first song acoustically and what a great job they did to. Every song was perfect and the guys were an absolute blast and even joined in with the laser clay pigeon shooting that we had on site too. Great guys and a great time had by all, they will come highly recommended from me. FixTheMusic were also on hand perfectly throughout the whole of the booking. 5 stars all round!”
“In a word, spectacular! From the first moment we contacted The Inventors, they were very friendly and flexible with our musical tastes, adapting to us at all times. Without a doubt, we will count on their enormous talent again!”
Based on 620 confirmed bookings in Spain over the last three years, here's what couples have paid.
Spain-based bands (277 bookings): from €1,600 for a duo, with most couples paying between €1,750 and €3,800.
UK-based bands travelling to Spain (44 bookings): from £2,500, typically booked for larger villa weddings with 100+ guests.
By region:
| Region | From |
|---|---|
| Barcelona & Catalonia | from €1,600 |
| Costa del Sol | from €2,500 |
| Madrid | from €2,300 |
| Seville | from €3,000 |
Barcelona and Catalonia account for the highest volume of band bookings, with the largest concentration of Spain-based bands. The Costa del Sol and Seville command higher starting prices, reflecting longer travel distances and a higher proportion of UK-based bands.
Premium showbands for large villa weddings can reach €8,000–€10,000+, but these are the exception rather than the norm.
If you need music for just the ceremony or drinks reception, solo guitarists and saxophonists are available from around €400, and wedding DJs from €750.
Based on confirmed bookings through FixTheMusic, couples planning Spain weddings book their band around 8 months ahead (median 250 days). For peak-season dates in June and September (particularly Saturday weddings in Barcelona, Sitges and the Costa del Sol) we recommend booking 12 months ahead to secure your first-choice band.
Spain-based bands typically charge €1,000–€5,000 (median €2,700). UK-based bands that travel to Spain (e.g. Mashup Kings) charge more (median £5,200) as they factor in flights and travel. Solo guitarists and saxophonists for ceremony or drinks sets start from around €400–€850. See the pricing section above for a regional breakdown.
June and September are the busiest months for Spain weddings on FixTheMusic, with 786 and 828 enquiries respectively over the last three years. July sees a dip, likely due to the extreme heat. April is a popular shoulder month (182 enquiries), coinciding with warmer spring weather. Peak season (May–September) accounts for around 78% of all Spain wedding enquiries.
Spanish wedding days also tend to run longer than UK weddings. Ceremonies typically start between 2pm and 5pm (later in the day to avoid the afternoon heat) followed by aperitivo or cocktail hour, then dinner, with the evening reception often not starting until 10pm.
Bands typically play from 10pm to midnight or later, and some parties continue until 3am or 4am. DJ Nerja offers full-day coverage from ceremony at 2pm through to the DJ set finishing at 3am, while The Popcats quote for a 10pm to midnight set as standard. When budgeting, keep in mind that a full-day package covering ceremony, aperitivo, dinner and evening reception will cost more than an evening-only booking.
Most Spain-based bands quote with VAT included. For example, Vibe Motion list their 4-piece at €4,000 "VAT included" and Serenata quote €1,300 "that includes VAT, sound equipment and travel." When you receive quotes through FixTheMusic, check whether VAT is included so you're comparing like for like.
Yes. Around 1 in 10 enquiries on FixTheMusic specifically request Spanish, Latin or flamenco music. Many Spain-based bands perform in both languages — The Elliotts sing "mainly in English, and also have a few Spanish songs," while Serenata offers "international pop, soul classics and flamenco-pop in Spanish with rumbas." If you want a dedicated flamenco performance, The Flamenco Dancers offer a 60-minute Spanish guitar set followed by a 30-minute flamenco dance show for around €1,350 including sound equipment. If you have international guests, mention this when you enquire and we'll match you with bands who can cater to both.
Yes, all bands bring their own PA system, mixing desk and basic lighting. Some villas and fincas have sound restrictions or work with an exclusive sound company. Forever Fiesta ask every couple whether the venue has a sound limiter or works with a specific supplier before quoting. A 4-piece band typically needs around 5m × 4m of performance space and 1–2 parking spaces close to the venue for loading.
The standard format is two sets of 45 or 60 minutes for the evening reception, usually between 9pm and midnight. Many Spain weddings follow a multi-part format — ceremony music, then aperitivo or cocktail hour, then dinner, then the evening party. Nearly 500 enquiries on FixTheMusic mention ceremony music and over 500 mention aperitivo or cocktail-hour sets. Some bands offer packages covering multiple parts of the day — DJ Nerja covers everything from ceremony at 2pm through to the DJ set at 3am, and Saffron & Spice offer an in-house DJ to continue after the band finishes. Additional DJ sets after the band typically cost around €750 extra.
Yes, but bands need shelter for their instruments. Strong sun and sudden rain both pose risks to equipment worth thousands of euros. If your venue has an outdoor terrace or garden ceremony area, mention this when you enquire so bands can plan their setup. Some rural venues may also need a generator if the power supply isn't sufficient for a full band's PA and lighting.
Yes. Barcelona-based bands regularly perform in Sitges, the Costa Brava and as far as Tarragona. Marbella-based bands cover the whole Costa del Sol and inland Andalusia. For longer journeys (e.g. Barcelona to Marbella), travel costs may apply. Vibe Motion list "transportation, accommodation and per diems" as separate line items on top of their base fee.
Yes, every band profile on FixTheMusic includes videos, audio samples and verified reviews from past clients. You can watch performances at real Spanish weddings before making your decision.
Yes, and many couples do. Over the last three years, FixTheMusic has confirmed 300 bookings where a UK-based band travelled to perform at a wedding in Spain.
UK bands charge more because they factor in flights, accommodation and transport. Based on confirmed bookings, UK bands travelling to Spain have a median price of £4,443, compared to €1,800 for Spain-based bands.
The most frequently booked UK bands for Spain weddings include Fusion Girls (11 bookings, averaging £4,761), Scintillate (8 bookings, averaging £9,344) and Mashup Kings (7 bookings, averaging £10,686).
If your budget doesn't stretch to flying a band over, a Spain-based band is typically half the price and many perform to the same standard. Groove Garden in Barcelona average €3,423 per booking, and Forever Fiesta average €3,718.
Saturday is the most popular day, accounting for 47% of all Spain wedding enquiries on FixTheMusic over the last three years. But Friday weddings are far more common in Spain than in the UK, making up 22% of enquiries, and Sunday weddings account for a further 12%.
Thursday weddings (9%) and weekday weddings generally are more common in Spain because many venues offer significantly lower rates midweek, and the longer Spanish wedding timeline (ceremonies starting at 2 to 5pm, dinner at 8pm, party from 10pm) makes a Thursday-to-Saturday celebration feel natural.
If you're flexible on your date, a Friday or Thursday wedding can mean lower venue costs and better band availability, particularly during peak months like June and September when Saturdays book up 12 months ahead.
Absolutely, and many couples do exactly this. Solo musicians are ideal for ceremony music, aperitivo or cocktail hour, and they cost a fraction of a full band. Based on confirmed bookings over the last three years:
Saxophonists are our most-booked solo act in Spain. Rudy On Sax (Barcelona and Mallorca) has 33 confirmed bookings averaging €1,950, often combined with a DJ set. España Sax in Barcelona averages €866, The Marbella Saxophonist averages €736, and The Menorca Saxophonist averages €679.
Spanish guitarists are perfect for ceremony and drinks. Miguel On Guitar in Barcelona has 28 bookings averaging €587, and The Malaga Guitarist covers the Costa del Sol from around €613.
Singer-guitarists offer a more contemporary feel. Patrick in Madrid has 27 bookings averaging €810, and DJ Singer Carmen covers Barcelona and Mallorca from around €1,771 including DJ sets.
String quartets bring elegance to the ceremony. Cadence Strings in Barcelona has 11 bookings averaging €1,872, and Aquarius Strings (London-based, travels to Spain) averages £3,050.
If you want coverage for the full day, many solo musicians offer add-on DJ sets. Magnus On Sax in Mallorca and The Mallorca Wedding Saxophonist both combine live sax with DJ sets from around €450 to €650.
Based on over 11,000 enquiries on FixTheMusic over the last three years, here are the most popular regions and venues for Spain weddings with live music:
