The Curious Groove Band was formed in March 2013 and has been dedicated to performing the best funk and groove tracks ever since.
The band is incredibly adaptable and can play several different styles throughout your event, creating the perfect soundtrack to your entire day.
From jazz aperitifs and acoustic dinner sets to electric party sets, The Curious Groove Band will have you entertained from start to finish!
We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Castello di Petrata in Perugia and Glamping Abruzzo in Pescara, Italy.
The band is comprised of six main elements; male and female vocals, guitar, bass, drums, piano and saxophone and can be fully adapted to the needs of your occasion.

For instance, the band can be condensed to just two or three elements for small, more intimate gigs, while the full 6-piece band can be hired for bigger occasions.

We chose them based on their setlist and general jazzy funky sound and they outperformed on the day itself! We chose a 6 person band to perform 2 hours, a 3 hour DJ set, and a ceremony song. We had one of our personal friends sing an opera song at the beginning of the ceremony together with their pianist and they were very professional and easy to communicate with long distance over WhatsApp. Can definitely recommend them at your wedding as they set the tone for a beautiful ambience and funky dance party!"
