About Blue Horizon Jazz – professional Jazz & Swing band based in Aix-en-Provence, France
Blue Horizon Jazz is a music project by female lead jazz singer, Caroline.
At the age of four, she started her musical career by learning to play the classical piano and went on to participate in several concerts.
She was accepted at the age of ten to Adolf Fredrik, the top music school in Sweden, where she started to pursue her love of singing and performing.
Her musical path led her to the Berstein School in Bologna, Italy, where she studied acting, dancing, and singing for three years.
They are regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Domaine La Plume in La Penne and Château de Tourreau in Provence.
The band normally performs as either a 3-piece jazz & swing band with Caroline on vocals, double bass, and piano, or they can add a drummer for a fuller sound to create a 4-piece band.
Caroline has been in several Italian theatre productions over the years, including Into the Woods, Parade, Ragtime, and Sweeney Todd.
She also gave a performance at the esteemed event honouring the London Palladium's 100th anniversary.
Caroline lives in a little village in Provence and performs with her quartet throughout France.
Jazz has led to numerous collaborations with renowned musicians and performances between Sweden and France, from small intimate club stages to Jazz festivals such as "Jazz En Touraine", "Jazz sous les Châtaigniers", "Jazz bat la campagne", "Festival Les Musicales dans les vignes"...
Blue Horizon Jazz has recently performed at premium weddings and events in France and throughout the world.
They are experts at serenading guests with their finest renditions of well-known jazz standards as well as original compositions.
