"We were absolutely delighted with The Willow Ceilidh Band. The music was lively and fun and tailored to suit our mixed audience. Louise as caller made sure that everyone had a great time and we all went home smiling. There was a good mixture of dances and guests from 2 to 82 were helped to join in and have fun. They were very adaptable and relaxed and we enjoyed meeting them all. I think we were so lucky to find them and would heartily recommend them to anyone thinking of hosting a ceilidh. Best wishes, Barbara."

"We hired the band for our London wedding, where the majority of guests were English! We (and the beginners!) really appreciated the clarity of steps, and found the caller really engaging. We didn't get through as many dances as you might at a ceilidh in the north of Scotland, but that was to the benefit of the guests at our event! Worth noting also that we were really grateful for the gender neutrality of the instructions when it came to paired dancing - something we'd not heard before, but an important modernization to be inclusive of all. Thank you, Willow Ceilidh Band!"

"Willow Ceilidh Band played at our wedding in June 2023 and they were fantastic! It as the perfect way to start our evening party. Louise did a brilliant job as caller and got all the guests onto the dance floor. Everyone afterwards told us the ceilidh was a highlight of the day. Louise then DJ-ed for us until the finish too. Thanks to the band for a memorable evening!"

"Willow Ceilidh Band played at our wedding recently - they were fantastic. We had people who had different ceilidh experience, but the dances chosen and the quality of the calling meant everyone could join in and have fun. They helped create a relaxed atmosphere and we would highly recommend them."

"Willow Ceilidh Band were simply SUPERB! We booked them for a Y11 Christmas Dance. The music was fantastic and the caller was first class. For many this was their first experience of Ceilidh music and dancing, they were not disappointed. I would high recommend them and we will definitely be having them back soon for both staff and pupil events! Thanks so much for making this a memorable evening for the pupils"

"The guys were amazing; they played really well and also gave very clear instructions that were very useful to most of our guests who haven't been ceilidhing before. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed it so much. Many have messaged us afterwards saying how much they loved ceilidhing and what a great idea to do something different for our wedding. We're very grateful to Willow Ceilidh Band for their fabulous contribution to make our wedding memorable and fun!"

"Will and the band played at our wedding in May and I could not praise them enough. We had the band & DJ option and they were so well organised. They played a lot of the classics and despite some reluctance from guests to get up initially....had almost everyone on the dance floor by the end. They were so much fun and really did contribute to our amazing day. Even now people are still commenting on how much fun they had, and we both loved every second. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so memorable."

"Willow Ceilidh Band were absolutely brilliant at our wedding, they had everyone up dancing! Even my Dutch family who were skeptical about a Ceilidh absolutely loved it and American colleagues said every wedding should have a ceilidh. "Hi guys, We hope that you are well. We are now back from our little mini-moon and are full of delicious food and drink, and wanted to message to say that we absolutely loved the Belle and Sebastian cover and the ceilidh last Saturday at Stowe House, as well as of course the music afterwards - they were so tricky to try and visualise before our big day, but they were absolutely perfect! We are sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye to you or to thank you on the day - we saw you leaving but unfortunately had a lot of guests to get through. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for your time and skill. You received a lot of positive comments from our friends and family, and were a big part of the celebration. We could not fault anything about our day if we are being very honest. Thank you for being a part of it. Kind regards, Becky & Stuart."

"Hi Will, I hope that you are well! We just wanted to send a quick note, now that everything has calmed down slightly, to say thank you so so much for all of your help in everything that you did to make Saturday such a special day for us. The ceilidh was absolutely fantastic - we had so many compliments for your players, and so many guests saying how much they enjoyed it, so thank you for everything that you did to make it happen! The disco was great too, and a really good way to end the evening. Thank you too for the jazz duo - I was off having photos so didn’t manage to hear much, but again, many guests have said how lovely it was to have the live music there! We will send you a proper thank you card and will write a full review if you like in due course, but we just wanted to let you know immediately how grateful we are for your help! Many thanks again and best wishes, Emma and Tom."

"We booked Willow Ceilidh Band (as a three piece band and then disco with all the lights and gizmos) for our wedding in Buckinghamshire in October 2019 and they were fantastic. They were great at communicating in advance, and were really amenable when we made quite specific requests for our first dance, even down to adapting tempo and length for us. On the day, they arrived in plenty of time to set up...and then waited patiently as our wedding breakfast ran over by nearly an hour. They were really relaxed about adapting the planned sets to the time that was left and as soon as they started to play we were delighted with our choice of band - their sound was wonderful, and if you like Aly Bain, Phil Cunningham, etc., you will love their style. The caller was clear and our dance floor was full of dancers from all age groups for the entire ceilidh. After the ceilidh, Aidan took over as DJ and the disco lights went on, and he not only agreed to put his ears through our 1.5 hour list of ultimate cheesy hits of the 80s and 90s, but also kept the dance floor filled right up until midnight and didn't do any annoying talk-over as we've heard at some other parties! :) In short, we highly recommend them! All best, Hannah and Simon."

"Will and the original line up of Willow Ceilidh Band played at our daughter's wedding in Worcestershire in July 2019. We also had the DJ option as an extra for the evening. They all did an excellent job of keeping the guests entertained during what seemed to be an exceptionally long evening. Initially due to the hot weather our guests seemed a bit reluctant to start dancing but soon joined in the fun. The music was spot on and enjoyed by all. We had several guests down from Scotland who were very impressed with the Ceilidh band and thoroughly enjoyed the dancing. The caller was both very patient and entertaining. We can't thank them all enough for spending a long and hot evening keeping everyone going. We would certainly recommend such a professional group of musicians."
