The Tuscany Swing Band was born by the combination of three professional musicians.
Each one with a wide professional experience, they share the same musical tastes and the same purpose of having fun and entertaining guests at weddings, parties and corporate events.

We are a team of professional musicians, graduated from the Conservatory and music teachers, with over fifteen years of experience in live music and entertainment at private events.

We can offer you various packs with solutions both for the reception and for the ceremony, taking care of the whole musical planning of the day.
We speak English, French and a bit of German. We collaborate with the most prestigious locations and with the most quoted planning agencies.

Our full line-up is made by Elena (female voice and snare drum), Stefano (guitar), Mirco (double bass) and Alberto (wind instruments).
Sometimes we can also produce as a Trio version or with different instruments.
The intent of The Tuscany Swing Band is to offer a high level musical show completely live performed.
The wide music expertise and the long-term grown competence of the members group always guarantee high standard musical performance.
This one is enhanced by the repertoire that include original arrangements and is accredited by a long experience in different sort of contest: from street festivals to theatres and auditorium, from clubs to grand hotels and private parties.
The guitar, the piano, the snare drum and the voice are acoustic instruments with a large range of colours and dynamics.
The warm and charming tone voice will alternate with instrumental improvisations of the piano and the guitar – this magic mixture is supported by the lively and fair rhythm of the snare drum played with brushes.
The repertoire. It’s vast and multicoloured collecting from different musical genres.
With original arrangements, it ranges from Italian, European and American ’40’s swing to jazz standards including Bossanova and instrumental songs as waltz musettes, beguine and more.
A position of considerable importance is occupied by the Italian song become famous all over the world: the old swing music of the radio and gramophone.

Response from Stefano: Yes, but we require a shady area to perform of at least 4 metres length x 2 metres depth, not far from an electric socket.

Response from Stefano: We also need a dressing room to change clothes and washroom facilities.
Do you require parking close to the venue? (asked by Marina on 8 December 2020)
Response from Stefano: Yes, we have to install some heavy equipment (amps etc.) so the area where we play must be reachable by car.

Il trio The Tuscany Swing Band nasce dall’unione di tre musicisti provenienti da estrazioni musicali eterogenee con un ampia esperienza professionale e con la stessa passione e curiosità per diversi linguaggi musicali. Con la stessa voglia di divertirsi facendo divertire chi ascolta.
Il Progetto. Il trio The Tuscany Swing Band nasce dall’idea di offrire uno spettacolo musicale di alta qualità interamente suonato dal vivo.
L’ottima preparazione musicale e la lunga esperienza professionale dei componenti garantiscono performance artistiche sempre di alto livello; così come lo studio approfondito del repertorio, la creazione di arrangiamenti originali e gli anni di pratica in ogni sorta di contesto: dai festival di strada ai concerti in teatri e auditorium, dai locali agli hotel di gran lusso e alle feste private.
Il sound. La chitarra, il pianoforte, il rullante e la voce sono strumenti ricchi di infinite sfumature e come tutti gli strumenti acustici sono in grado di sfruttare una illimitata gamma di dinamiche.
La voce calda e avvolgente si alternerà con le improvvisazioni strumentali del pianoforte e della chitarra sostenuti dal ritmo incalzante e discreto del rullante suonato con le spazzole.
Il repertorio è molto vasto ed attinge da vari generi musicali. Arricchito da arrangiamenti originali, esso spazia principalmente dallo swing italiano, europeo e americano degli anni ’40 agli standard jazz, senza escludere la Bossa Nova e brani strumentali come valzer musettes, beguine e altro.
Un occhio di riguardo viene rivolto alla canzone italiana che “ha girato il mondo” ovvero quella dell’era dello swing, quella delle vecchie radio e dei giradischi. Insomma quei “motivetti” che piacciono tanto in tutto il mondo.
