They played an amazing set for our apertivo which created an exciting atmosphere as soon as our guests walked in. They were punctual and ready to play from the moment the first guests stepped foot inside our venue, and the repertoire of music was incredible. For the afterparty they made a serious party! The five piece band were spectacular, playing classic hits, rock, contemporary and everything in between. They had our dance floor full from start to finish. Our guests spoke about them long after our wedding day had finished, with high praise for their ability to balance different genres as well as the lead singers amazing voice. As a primarily Irish wedding with some Canadians mixed in, the feedback was unanimous in The Sonics being the best band they had heard at a wedding. Oniq was so easy to communicate with while we coordinated on all things before the wedding. And Fix the Music made the whole booking process absolutely seamless. I would highly recommend this band to anyone looking for live music at their wedding!"

From our initial consultation with Oniq it was obvious that they professional and were going to provide an unforgettable experience. They tailored their set list to meet our tastes and were happy to exclude any songs we weren’t interested in. On the day of the wedding they provided a speaker and microphone system for speeches as well as back ground music. The live performance was incredible and started the night off perfectly, they played a mix of songs to match the guests and made sure the dance floor was filled. The DJ set from 11-1am also kept the dance floor filled, we had provided a playlist but the sonics were able to blend and mix this perfectly and were also open to requests! I’d highly recommend The Sonics to anyone looking for a lively band for their wedding or event"

The band invites clients to select their favourite songs from the band's set list; and up to 5 songs for the band to avoid from the set list. The band will use the selection as a reference for the artist, title and musical style, to create a bespoke event set list for your event. Please note that the final set list on the night will be decided by the band's musical director.
