"To say The Puppets are the best event cover/party band I have ever heard and experienced would be an understatement. They absolutely are the best. I will admit I was very trepidatious when sitting at my desk in New York City in early January, after perusing over 50 prospective bands via videos and sound clips over the internet, I chose The Puppets to perform at my partner’s birthday party to be held in Tuscany in June. Even though I am a professional musician myself and trust my ears completely, I wasn’t convinced that the incredible vocals of Francesco and Martina, aptly accompanied by the amazing musicianship of Simone on bass, Marcello on guitar and Davide on drums, that sounded so exceptional online, would be the same quality when our 85 guests arrived in Italy. "What to say! The Puppets brought amazing energy to our wedding and the dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. They played banger after banger and honestly it was almost too good. No one could have a break from the insane dancing, as soon as one amazing song finished, they launched straight into another. They had amazing energy, really friendly and fun and are just insanely talented. We paid for the five piece band to do two 45 minute sets and also for an acoustic set in the day. I'd really recommend both. The band also learned our first dance song which we really appreciated. "We are based in the UK and Puppets band was booked through FixTheMusic (who I found online) for our wedding in Bellagio, Lake Como over a year before the event. Initially we were a little nervous about paying the deposit so early and having faith that the band would turn up and do a good job.
