“We hired The Pantheon Gypsy Jazz Band for our black-tie wedding cocktail at La Coupole in Paris, and they were fantastic. They usually perform as a larger group, but because our reception was in a closed space, we asked for a trio without percussion. We still wanted something cheerful and swinging, and they found the perfect balance. The repertoire was beautifully adapted to the atmosphere we had hoped to create, fun, jazzy, sophisticated. They are truly excellent musicians, highly professional, and incredibly easy to work with. Pierre, in particular, was super friendly and reassuring throughout the process. At the end of the cocktail, we asked them to play our dinner entrance song — and they absolutely set the place on fire ! An unforgettable moment. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. As this was a destination wedding for us, it was important to us to integrate aspects of French culture into our wedding day. The Montage Duo performed both French and English songs throughout the night. So many of our guests commented on how amazing and beautiful their performances were. Additionally, we thought their presence really elevated our wedding day. It was also so special during our cake cutting - they had overheard us speaking earlier in the day about how much I (bride) loved Taylor Swift, so they surprised us during the cake cutting by performing one of her songs!
