What kind of songs do the rock wedding bands cover?
Our rock wedding bands will play all your favourite rock and pop covers from the 60s up until present day. They cover classic bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Beatles, through to Guns ‘n Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen, as well as Green Day, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Blink 182, The Killers and Kings of Leon.
Our rock bands pride themselves on their years of experience, keeping dance floors full by playing tune after tune that your guests will love.
What is the line-up / instrumentation of the rock wedding bands?
Most rock songs tend to be guitar-led – so naturally the majority of our rock bands feature electric guitar as one of the main instruments. They also have one or two singers, as well as bass guitar and drums.
Some of our rock wedding bands can also add a saxophone player to the line-up, perfect for filling out the sound and widening the band's repertoire.
Do the rock wedding bands have male or female singers?
The typical rock band features male vocals – this is usually because most classic rock songs are sung by male lead singers. We also work with numerous female-led rock bands, as well as rock bands with male and female vocals.
Where do the rock wedding bands perform in the UK?
Our rock bands perform at weddings throughout the UK. The majority are based in London, but there are also large collections of amazing professional rock bands elsewhere in the UK – including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Essex, Bristol and Cardiff.
How long do rock bands perform for at weddings?
Most bands provide 2 hours of live music at weddings. This is normally split into 2 or 3 sets (e.g. 2 x 60 minute sets, or 3 x 40 minute sets). Some bands can perform for longer if required, but this is usually for an additional fee.
In between and after the rock band's live sets, most bands provide a "DJ service", so your entire evening of musical entertainment is covered. You can normally prepare your own playlist on Spotify or an iPod to play through the band's PA system at this point.
How much does it cost to book a rock band for a wedding?
The average price for hiring a rock band in the UK is £1,459. There are some superb professional 3-piece rock bands on FixTheMusic whose prices start at around £800 - £900. 4-piece rock bands usually start at around £1,300 - £1,650 and larger groups increase in price accordingly.
A general rule of thumb is that most rock bands charge between £300 - £400 per musician and the total cost of the band will depend on the number of musicians and singers in the band.

“Rock Out played in the evening of our wedding at Leez Priory. From the start of the process they were very flexible and were willing to learn a new song for our first dance. We were also provided with an extensive set list where we were able to chose the songs we wanted them to play on the night. The band were set up and ready to play and they really made the evening for us and our guests. They played our first dance perfectly and then kept the evening rocking with some great tunes. Despite being due to play 2 sets, with a break in between, we were running late, so they played on through without a break due to the location curfew for noise. We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our evening event. They were friendly, amenable and their performance was outstanding. Great vocals and music with a varied playlist to suit all tastes. I would thoroughly recommend them for any event.”

“Where to start…The Manhattans were absolutely incredible from start to finish, if you are in two minds about who to use for your wedding, this is your sign to go with these lads. From the first planning meeting with Sam, we were so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. This continued throughout the lead up to the wedding, with how proactive and responsive Sam was. Nothing was too much trouble and the band even learnt a song at the Emma’s request (and completely nailed it!). On the day, the band arrived and set up with the minimum of fuss and were ready to go in good time. When they did take the stage, they blew us and our guests away. There were a mix of songs we’d requested from their set list and a few others they threw in too. The vibe was perfect and they kept the dancefloor packed over two sets. Plenty of our guests have said they’re the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding and we agree. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. This was followed up with a DJ set to close the night out, which was again fantastic and kept everyone on the dancefloor til last orders.
